It adds up. You are right though, You cant make a living on this. Lucky to break even helping people buy their first rig with the amount of time that goes into each and every order. It is alot more than i ever imagined before taking this route. However I love it when they receive their rig aand you get that email where you can feel how excited that new person to the sport has just become. Exactly. The main word here is Booth. Notice how you did not refer to a 'distributor' but to a manufacturer. It use to be the 'manufacturer' who had to make a living. Now it is the 'manufacturer' and the 'distributor' who has to make a living. I am a distributor and looking at my distributor prices that i pay the manufacturer so the manufacturer can make a living would make gear so much cheaper for the customer. But because of the difference having us distributors in the equation the customer is contributing to the manufacturers living as well as the distributors living. Is this fair on the customer? Well, yes and no would be the answer to that. Yes because there is no way the manufacturer could do it all ont heir own now in a timely fashion and give the customer service a customer needs but also no because the customer should not have to pay so much to two different companies. However it is like this for everything in the world and is one of those catch 22 situations. I personaly dont try to get rich from selling gear and i just like to make customers smile. It is not possible fort all gear store owners to have that way of life no matter how much they would prefer to though because more times than most they have massive overheads that i do not have. You know, I am sorry i have been rude to you. I just seriously can't believe that you are actually serious about this and fail to see how good that service was for you. It was 4 weeks out of your life. How many things in life can you send off to have serviced or fixed and actually have it back to you within 4 weeks?!? The problem is that you took one persons advice... your rigger... and because this person turned out to be incorrect you now would change products. If you had asked someone who actually works for Cypres then you would have had a more accurate answer on when it would be ready and returned. To have such a gripe about something when you have someone guess about the time frame makes me wonder if you are like these people that come here and make threads about vigil class action lawsuits etc. This was good service for you, 4 weeks is great to have something serviced and returned in this industry and you need to open your eyes up and see how good that service and that product is to you. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .

Amen! I cant believe that this person is moaning about a 4 week turn around with all the holidays and the xmas boogies etc. It would take 4 days to ship it each way or at least 4 days before they even receive the thing. Some people are just ungrateful with good quality service that they come to a public forum and make themselves look stupid moaning about something that is so little. I guess when you go on the front line you need to learn to fight to kill not like in the streets. it is scary thought but i for one would like to be trained like that. Scary shit though if you think about it. This is where i have respect for anyone that has been on the front line.
