Anyone have one of these? I keep finding new things to set in the remote every 5 minutes while workign on the computer. Thsi remote takes some serious brain power to configure the way you want it. it seems never ending. I nearly got the harmony 1000i but thought it was too bulky so went for the 785?. Guy took $130 off the price so had to buy it. My sony tv is having serious clouding issues. So glad i bought it from a good guy though as he has sent me out 5 different sets in a week now, all the same model but all have the same problem. I am now waiting for the newer model, the bravia with the gun metal bezel instead of the standard 46 x series bravia. The funny thing is, they guarantee the lowest price, so this model is worth about $300 more but seeing the price has gone down on my tv in the past 3 weeks of having it that when this more expensive tv comes out i actually get the tv and money back. They have a 30 day guarantee after purchase that if you find a lower price they give you the difference plus 20% back!. So all in all, i get the upgrade to sonys 'flagship' model tv and i get $250 cash back from the price i originally paid and then they have to write a new tax receipt out so i also am entitled the sony $200 rebate as well! Does anyone have an idea what this would cost to ship to australia? Or could anyone find out for me please? (from USA) In Australia it costs over $1100usd while in the usa i can pick it up for $400usd. Kind of seems stupid to pay nearly triple the price just to buy it from australia. Also, does anyone know if it is only NTSC?? as australia uses PAl, however i guess my PS3 and my Bravia can both run on Ntsc so it should not really matter. Not really sure about that though. Just figured out how to do it and it is so much better than watching the videos on my computer on my to my tv via a 10ft long DVI-HDMI head and a shitty 3.5mm headphone to rca plug!! So now with it streaming to the PS3 then it is on a 1 metre HDMI-HDMI plug with digital optical audio to my surround sound. One question though... does the playstation 'upscale' media from the media server or does it only 'upscale' dvds? Whatever it is doing i am so stoked to figure out i could do this. I cant believe it streams so fast either!! Damn, what else can i do with all this digital technology in my house? Is there a way i can send movies from my PC to my PS3 and on to my TV? At the moment i do it through dvi-hdmi directly to my tv. I am wondering if i can do it wireless through my pc and ps3? I dont agree with some threads that you do Cspence but after seeing this thread and a moderator commenting that 'it is not against the forum rules, so it is allowed' (not exact quote), I understand where you have been coming from. Sure this is not against the rules but it against common curtesy that we dont link this sort of shit to this site. One of our skydiving family was taken from us, some piece of shit tries to get famous of that and then someone links it to this website. That link is giving that person hits to her video and making it more popular so others will soon see it around the globe and this site supports that. When i saw that video all i wanted to do was cut the person on the videos tounge out. I am 100% certain that if the video was someone pretending to be Tonto, Chris Martin, Shannon, Lee (R.I.P ) or someone else that was well known to this website then it would have been put in the recycling bin and the original poster probably would have been banned very fast. This thread being allowed to stay has got to be the lowest and most bad taste thread ever posted on this website towards one of our own. The original poster obviously had an instict to not post it as she knew it was wrong but continued to do so. This thread has to be removed.
