that is the problem though i came into this bloddy country on a british passport therefore do not have a stamp in my new zealand passport. So i can not leave the country on my new zealand passport because i can not prove i was meant to be in the damn country to start with. i have just replied for a replacment british passport in the mail, i leave in one week to go around scandenavia. i get my passport put through my door today in a brown royal mail1 envelope, the envelope is open and no passport just the cover letter. The envelope looks like it had been opened and then resealed with selotape, and also reopened by the selotape again, the envelope was fully open before put through my door. Ok, it can only be someone from the postal service who has stolen my passport but the question i have to ask is, how could someone be so dumb? i mean if you are a postal worker and you steal a passport out of the envelope why on earth would you selotape the envelope up and then post it without the passport, oh and then reopen the sellotape??? i can not get my head around this, the only thing i am aware of is that i will not be leaving this country before xmas. i phoned the post office up but as it is saturday the manager is not in until monday so i asked if i should call the police, the lady said no, you need to speak to the manager first, well it is up to you if you want to go to the police first. I tell you something, i am sick of customer service in this country and am going to kick up the biggest shit storm i can with this post office. speaking to western union now, they tell me that 30 miles away there is another western union, if i would like to go there on the chance they might have the money on a saturday.
