A deposit is only to show me that you are going to pay for it and not let me down. For a dealer to take a deposit to cover the cost of the rig if the customer does do a runner would be 90% of the sale price. I think alot of people take for granted how much of a risk a dealer takes when they only collect a 50% deposit. JUst wondeirng if any other gear stores have had this problem. Where a customer orders, you trust the guy to pay you and then he never does over 6 months but he makes 101 promises and never follows through or contacts you with an excuse. My customer ended up paying 10% of his rig and never another cent. HE ordered a special size custom order, never paid over 6 months. Should people like this have their name and details put in a public forum for all to be warned about his ethics incase he tries to purchase from another dealer?? I mean, I just need enough money to feel secure that the customer will pay for their custom order when it is ready or at the minimum a deposit that is enough to cover any restocking fees with those manufacturers that offer it. I do mate, however after waiting on one customer to make payment for 6 months now I have changed the rules a bit. I require a mutually agreed upfront payment. Then we place the order.. Orders are rather fast at the moment, so we can delay it, for example, if your rig s ready in 2 months and you can not come up with the money in two months, then we make it so your rig is ready a bit later. Either way, payment must be made in full. I have excellent references from a few different manufacturers and would gladly help you out. I have about 6-8 ZPX material canopies on order at the moment. I am told they are just waiting for a delivery of ZPX, I am pretty certain I was amongst the first lot of ZPX orders they got so doubt many are on the dropzones yet. 90% of customers asking about a Pilot are also asking for ZPX. One of my customers will also be getting a Samurai delivered in a few days. I also imagine this will be amongst the first out there. Prices have just gone up. i think you will see Icarus prices go up shortly, just a whisper i have heard, not sure it is going to happen though. If it is fairly new does this make it a VIGIL 2? Personally, I only sell my customers Cypres 2. I have recently sold a single Vigil 2 but I was very hesitant. I dont know much about the Vigils as for the past few years all I have seen is complaints and them being banned on dropzones. Now the vigil 2 is out it seems loads of people choose it as a cheaper option ($150?) to a cypres 2. However I have always been waiting for the vigil 2 complaints to start coming in after the vigil 1 having so many issued fixes or being banned or whatever. The original vigil was always having some sort of issue and it makes me wonder if this is the start of the complaints for the vigil 2. I have not heard a single complaint about it until now. I really do hope this ends up being a one off situation for the sake of all those that so quickly jumped into buying a vigil because it has the number 2 next to it ;) .Karnage Krew Gear Store .

I dont think crash was inflexible at all. As far as I am concerned he stayed on their cookie trail while they fucked him about. He waited 18 months for a rig. That is not inflexible. As I have said, I think Crash got royally fucked over by PDF and they can go to hell for all i care. Really....what ever happen to the customer is always right? If the customer was always right, one of my customers with 7 jumps who tried to buy a 119 crossfire 2 the other day would be dead. Just my opinion mate. I have been proven wrong in this thread and that I am just overacting so i will leave it at that. Telling people your complaints and your issues with companies is one thing but going to the lengths and the amount of effort to put a website together etc sure does seem like he is hellbent and going mentally mad with his keyboard. BTW, PDF apologized to you in that email. They have no reason to make a public apology. You are the only person here asking for an apology and they gave you one. Why do they need to make it public? No good company is going to lower themselves to coming into these forums and apologise to you in public. As far as they are concerned it is a private matter between you and them. Why on earth would they feel the need to publicly apologise? Hell, one of my customers has a rig that was due 4 months ago, I sent it to the wrong person on the other side of the country, they were on holiday and it took 2 months to then get sent to the right person, it ended up being the wrong size container (not my fault), i then had to have it rebuilt for them and it just arrived last week and they missed using their rig at the national event they needed it for. I apologised, told them why this had happened and that was that. This customer did not then go and start a website slandering me and demanding a public apology from me. Mate when it comes down to it, you had your dealer do everything she can and lengthy meetings with PDF and this is how you thank her by showing her manufacturer that she could not make her customer happy and keep him from airring this in the international forums. Just looking out for you mate. Thought I could maybe give you a different view on the situation that you might not be seeing. You can be certain all the manufacturers and manufacturer reps and sponsored jumpers have looked at how you are going about your vendetta. It would put them off ever wanting to deal with you. Just in case something happens out of their control that you cant accept and then go on this big rampage. As I said, I dont give a fuck about PDF, i hate what they did to you, I just dont want to see you shoot yourself in the foot by going too far. I sure as hell know that when i first started going to boogies around the world that I had plenty of people calling me out and isollating me cause of my views i use to express in these forums. Also, speaking to manufacturers daily and discussing with them and hearing their thoughts on customers coming into these forums and talking negative about them, i just thought that I would point out to you that alot of people that you might need in the future in this sport and international skydiving community are making opinions of you. A similar situation comes to mind when someone did somthing similar like this on dropzone.com and they were banished from your dropzone forever by one of the owners and were actually what I believe lucky to get out without being hurt. (no names being mentioned here) So, really I am just concerned for you and how far you are going with this. You obviously do not think my points are very valid and I dont want to argue with you, I just wanted to explain where I am coming from. Thats not the point i am making. What I am saying is when you travel to international boogies, boogies in europe and boogies in the USA, you will meet up with all these people.
