Whinnie bagoes in queenstown new zealand. I have had pizza in many countries including Italy but this stuff in queenstown is amazing. Best steak would have to be Isle of skye in scotland. Best mexican i have ever had was in sharm el sheik in egypt Best sandwiches and wraps are most definetly Skydive chicago. Best ice cram also has to go t america. Hate to say it but apart from thailand the best thai i have ever had was in ottawa Illinois. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
  18. I am off to thailand for the 8th or 9th time but have never once been up to Northern Thailand i.e. ( Chang Mai ). I only have 20 days there this time around and am trying to figure out if three days are enough in Chang Mai before flying back south. I would have liked to ridden the elephants through the jungle, does anyone know how long this trip is? Is there anything that is a must to do up north that i would be crazy to miss that would make me need to spend less days down in Samui? The other question is that i have never flown domestic in thailand and am wondering if it is cheaper to buy in bangkok as i would think or online? The online price i have is with Thai airways at $318 per person and that is from Bangkok-chang mai-surat thami-(cath the ferry to samui as i would rather the ferry than the flying) then back to sarut thami flying to bangkok. Does this sound like a fair price to anyone that goes to thailand or should i hold out till i get there. I know flights are cheap there but $318 for three flights seems pretty cheap but not sure if it is cheap enough. I thoought domestic flights were more like $50 each way. Any advice would be grateful. also where is the dropzone? Not really sure if i will lug my rig and gear around but at the same time know i will miss out on some insane views. Guess i can hire gear? Thanks. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
  19. just wondering what lenses people are using for freefly. I guess most use somewhere between the three and the four. The reason i ask is cause i am new to the freefly scene (200 jumps) whenever i use the point three i wish i had the point 5 and when i use the point five i wish i had the point three. Only cause my flying sucks! .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
  20. No worries, Thank you for asking. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
  21. Well in New zealand we have a Bird that is unique to New Zealand, It is a bird that does not fly as well. They are nearly extinct, and us kiwis get the nickname from this bird. Being american i miagine you think a kiwi is a fruit. You would be wrong there as what some americans call kiwi is actually called kiwifruit. It is named Kiwifruit as it is a fruit that is a big export from new zealand. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
  22. Oh your a kiwi? Dunedin is a fun place until you turn 20! Where are you going now? .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
  23. Michael i was in line at heathrow the other day trying to get to security and the line was about 5000 ppl thick. I am so lucky i did not try and take my rig on mate cause i was not even allowed hard tablet pain killers, nor was i allowed my asthma inhalor. Let me tell you a time about heathrow just so you know tsa and heathrow are in the same league.... My rig went threw security fine, my mates was stopped due to cypres, we were running late for flight, they called over supervisor and ran it threw the xray again, they told him he could not take it, i stepped up being the arrogant prick i am and told him there was no way he can say we can not take it, i was making him think i knew what i was talking about, when i did not. He said he was going to open it, i told him if he opens it i will have him and his company charged as it is a FAA regulation that nobody except a licensed parachute rigger can touch or open, he said ok, well i am not sure your airline will let it on so he was walking over with us, then he dissapered and we just walked on.... I do not think anybody at security really has a clue when it comes to parachutes, they have so much to now look out for that they must be so confused... they are doing their best though and there as not been any more 9/11's so good on them. I find it alot easier getting throguh security in the states with my rig than heathrow and new zealand for that matter. America sees more rigs i am guessing pass throguh. One thing though Michael, i am with you on the not feeling safe part with TSA, It is so easy to walk through there most of the time, i think the security in the states is the worst i have ever seen. It is harder in egypt, actually the hardest i have had would be Thailand, egypt and heathrow being the most thorough. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
  24. Skydive auckland were doing this with their sony pc series. Their tandems were getting video and photo all from the same pc105 or whatever each had. This was going on begginning last year. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
  25. I also always thought cypres 1 had some sort of exploasive device in it for the cutter... I was taught that by my instructor when he was teaching me what a cypres does, he just happened to mention this so we would know what to expect when going on flights. Sounds to me like this is a myth going back aways and for that i understand a whuffo thinking that as i always did until i learnt more. The guy did his job perfectly. He opened your reserve as he did not trust you, fair play to him. I wonder how many people they have stopped at gates with illicit items as their carry on. At least some people are trying to protect your american behind .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
