  2. I'm offended. There are ttwo tt's in hookitt Yeah it does a bunch of white. It will look good though, even if it's dirty. I'm trying to figure out another one for the fun of it. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

  7. Cut it to size. If there's enough hook left over to cut the hook shorter, just do that, otherwise, cut off the pile also and sew it back on shorter. Leave enough length to go over gloves. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto
  8. Personally. If I was at 1000 with a low speed mall that was not safe to land, it would be a cutaway and reserve pull. Pretty close to simultaneous. A canopy transfer to me would be more dangerous. On that note, though I have no issues with 1000 feet, I don't wait that long. Consider this. From 1000 feet, you have about 10 seconds to impact if you cutaway from a low speed mal and do nothing. All my low speed cutaways, the parachutes inflated in WELL under 200 feet. Closer to 100 than 200. During a planned breakaway, I took a 1 second delay. 2 seconds later my canopy was inflated. So 3 seconds including a 1 second delay is really not a big altitude loss. 9. These: They're not nearly as bulky as they appear in the photo and the tips are soft enough. 1" Heavy Duty Spring Clamp
  10. The green ones are super cheap. Take the handle side and swap them with the clamp side . I'm in a phone so can't find a link to the clamps I use, when I do use them. I'll try to find them and edit this post in time My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto
  11. Guys, I learned something today ..... Thanks Dave
  12. You correctly spelled 50% of the 2 words you meant to type. That's much better than my record. I just can't help my lame attempt at humor sometimes :) My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto
  13. Woops, went off topic. A kirby salesman came to my place years ago. At the time, I shared a pretty big place. I cleary stated I didn't want to and wasn't going to buy a vacuum cleaner. He still wanted to show me how well it worked so I let him. He did a great job with the living room and then asked if I minded if he finished the hallway. He even did one small throw rug in the kitchen. I was very impressed but still resisted the sale. He was very good at the job and I sure didn't mind a bit of free cleaning with an impressive machine. Well, he left, I went to work and my place was robbed Every thing was true except the part about being robbed
  14. Boogie thread? I've looked everywhere for boogie thread boobie photos to no avail. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

  16. Both of those come undone to easy with out double knots and such. I learned a different one and sure enough, no double knots needed unless you're shortening up the leftovers. It's a little cumbersome for kids learning to tie for the first time but grown ups, such as yourself could figure it out pretty quick Video... Hmmm, no time right now to make a video but if I can REMEMBER to visit this thread again. I'll show you. Tunnel fliers rejoice! My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... 19. What don't they teach? Have you asked people about it that may have the skills? Send me a PM with what it is you're looking for. You're on your way to an A license so just flying with certain people in a real coaching environment at your own dropzone will do wonders. There is probably a lot more talent there than you see when you're on the ground. Send me a PM and we'll see where you are. Oh but to answer one of your questions. Get some jumps in, then build a vacation around skydiving so you can both jump together. Go to Arizona for tunnel and sky stuff. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... 20. Hey I have a couple cameos in that video! I believe you're looking at TJ. He's a tunnel flyer and skydiver and coaches in both arenas. He's great at both. Tommy doesn't skydive, he's a tunnel instructor with true Mad Skills. Squeak, Tommy is great. I'm a bit Jealous :) You get to fly with Tommy AND fly in the Singapore tunnel. Every year he goes to Montana and joins in on a cattle drive so he's a real cowboy too. Country Music and all. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

    iPhone!!!!!

Try holding the home button and the power button down at the same time for many seconds. If it's not dead, it will eventually force a reboot or give you the slider that will say reboot ( or similar wording). Try that before taking it to apple. 23. Do the risers release before she strips it though? If she just pulls the cutaway to arms extension, how far does the cable clear the riser locking loop? My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto
  24. True, but I'm glad the video got posted anyway. If a person flies the canopy like it's a parachute rather than flying it like it's a delicate piece of material, fewer bad landings will occur. Let the parachute fly then flare it several times while you still have some altitude. Many people pound in because the first time they flare the reserve is on landing.
