  1. it was the cat..... "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  2. Well said, unfortunately it's not illegal to be a tool in the USA. If it was, I'd have filled the jails a long time ago, and that's just after directing traffic for an hour..............;) "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  3. Good points, and I don't disagree to an extent. I don't think anyone knows the end game, but so far he's defeated media outlets at their own games. Instead of reporting facts in recent years, most media outlets are pushing agendas, far beyond editorial scope. I think Trump is toying with that, and not playing by the perceived established rules. I truly believe a media reset wouldn't be a bad thing, or a little bit of humility, but that ain't gonna happen. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  4. But it certainly is not politics as usual, that is refreshing. Most media outlets have no idea what to do, they've been catered to for so long. Trump changed the rules, and this is sorely needed IMHO. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  5. Holy shit, We agree on something.......... "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  6. This is very entertaining, he just toys with them, and they bite almost every time. Like I said before, I have some serious reservations about Trump, but what he is doing to the media establishment is pure genius. He ran circles around them during his campaign, and it appears he will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  7. The "diverse and inclusive" crowd, singling out someone for potentially disagreeing with them. Don't you find that a bit ironic? It's simply classless and disrespectful. Had the tables been turned, and someone singled out a "liberal" for their political position/views in such a public venue, the media hate machine would have been in full motion. What the guy said was factually flawed, and made blanket assumptions. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  8. More false narratives and political agendas. Tell me how Mosby is still a lawyer? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWylX9IpAFE "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  9. Uncle Sugar screwing up military pay? Say it ain't so............ I had a buddy who's paycheck was 10 bucks one pay period, they had overpaid him his last check. Did they spread the repayment out? Nope, the bean-counters didn't care. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  10. Interesting reading. http://www.wsj.com/articles/the-myth-of-the-racist-cop-1477261025 "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  11. Gee, what a surprise. This takes some air out of the "minister coming home from church" argument. But in this environment, facts don't matter. This shooting was not justified, the officer made several tactical mistakes that led to her firing her weapon. I think she may beat any criminal charges, IMHO she just made a huge mistake. But had this thing gone any farther sideways, deadly force could have been justified. That will be her argument, and it's a legit one, given this info. PCP is an officers worst nightmare, suspects feel no pain, are mentally unstable, and are extremely unpredictable. These things do not occur in a vacuum, the "victim" has serious culpability in this as well. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  12. I did that one just to see, it worked. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  13. From the comfort of your home. This is what the ridiculousness of this conversation has led to; http://chicagoist.com/2016/10/06/top_cop_says_beaten_officer_was_afr.php You can be justified and right, and yet if the 24 hour news cycle comes crashing down on you, your life and career can be ruined. Just ask Darren Wilson and the detective from Charlotte. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  14. THE GUY IS HOLDING A FIREARM IN HIS HAND, THAT IS WHAT'S HAPPENING. Watch the video I linked, two cops were shot, the situation was very similar. At some point the officer has to make a decision, these things are happening in tenths of seconds. After numerous commands to drop the weapon, and one doesn't, the outcome is not good. I've shown actual examples, and yet I still get the sky is red argument. If you think the sky is red, I'm not going to change your minds with facts. This conversation has gotten to a ridiculous point. Have a nice day! "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  15. It's really easy too, the guy who has the possibility of getting shot. The cops are merely reacting to what a person may or may not do. It's happened to me, it wasn't a gun, it was a baseball bat. Guy runs out of a house he just destroyed with the bat during a mental breakdown. He runs toward me with the bat over his head, I draw and repeatedly tell him to drop it. He keeps coming, this is directly across the street from an elementary school which is in session. It's on an alley street and very close to the school. I actually had to step toward the threat to lessen the angle to avoid a ricochet and have a better backstop, in case I had to fire. The guy kept coming, I told him to drop it one more time. At this point I made my mind up, dropped my head to get a better sight picture, and waited to fire. If the guys heel would have raised. or he would have leaned closer to me, I would have shot him in the chest. Luckily he dropped the bat right then, about 6 feet from me, and laid down. When I asked him why he dropped the bat he said "I saw the look on your face, and your head drop down, I knew then I was about to get shot". A raised baseball bat at 6 feet is a commensurate threat to someone holding a hand gun within 25 yds. At some point the officer had to make the decision. In my case, from the time the guy came running at me, until the time he dropped was about 10 seconds. The officers in Charlotte gave numerous verbal commands to drop the gun, he didn't, he got shot. The video I linked shows what can happen if an officer waits too long. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  16. The answer is yes, it's really pretty simple. Watch the video, the officers hesitated, and two got shot, and they already had the advantage. If you give someone orders to drop a gun, and they don't, you have to make a choice, in tenths of seconds. Once you've made up your mind, the guy even flinches, then you use deadly force, to prevent what happened in the video. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  17. The answer is deadly force is absolutely warranted, I posted this earlier in this thread, people just chose to ignore it. http://www.policeone.com/police-products/body-cameras/articles/227108006-Video-Ariz-police-released-footage-of-fatal-OIS/ "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"

  19. Well ...............ya.............. What he said! "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  20. This is why a guy holding a gun is an imminent danger, these were tactical guys, with rifles, and they had the advantage. The bad guy does not drop the weapon, the officers hesitate, the bad guy reacts and fires. The results, two officers shot before the bad guy goes down. This isn't a fucking game, the situation in Charlotte could have ended this way, it didn't. http://www.policeone.com/police-products/body-cameras/articles/227108006-Video-Ariz-police-released-footage-of-fatal-OIS/ "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  21. http://www.policeone.com/officer-shootings/articles/226248006-Police-release-video-of-fatal-Calif-OIS/ The aforementioned shit sandwich, do not follow instructions, continually move and reach into your pockets, then draw a cylindrical metallic object from your pocket and point it at armed officers, and then everyone takes a bite. A lose/lose, but for the keyboard warriors it's all easy 20/20 hindsight. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  22. A gun..........A GUN................... A man with a mental condition, that has a GUN is an imminent threat. If he didn't have the GUN I'd agree. I'm trained in CIT, I deal with mentally ill people often, do you? As it turns out, the man had engaged in violent acts previously, was in possession of a stolen gun, and was a convicted felon. Now the officers didn't know that at the time, just like they didn't know he had a TBI from an accident. What they did know was he exited a car with a GUN, and refused commands to drop the GUN while still moving away. This is prolly the silliest discussion I've had in a long time. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  23. That is complete and utter bullshit. The "object" is a firearm, I also said enough to justify deadly force, not necessarily use it. HOWEVER after refusing numerous commands to drop the weapon, any furtive movement is a genuine threat. Officers are not going to get shot, just so you think it's fair. There is no such thing as a fair fight, let alone a gunfight. Why not just say the guy made a bad choice, and paid the price. However you're such a zealot you won't even concede that, even with the evidence staring you right in the face. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  24. They did know he had a gun, was smoking marijuana, got out of he car with a gun in his hand, then failed to drop the gun when ordered to. That alone is enough to justify deadly force, now it is known he was a convicted felon, with a propensity toward violence. But in this facts don't matter environment, he was reading a book. It's almost surreal, how silly this has become. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
