Anyone ever get a bad batch of DV tapes...?

Hey Karen, You definetly have a bad batch, I had the same problem some time ago....I almost whacked my camera how mad I was....then after 3 times visiting the service and cleaning the heads and mechanism the guys asked me wheter I use new tapes and I told them that I am using the same tape since I never got to make a good record after I pciked it up from the service so I took another tape and everything was OK again... Some tapes are "greasy" (dirty) said the technicians and no matter how clean the heads are its enough that you put the tape in and eject it and thats it...you again get shitty footage....get rid of that tape or tapes!!!....and take your cameras for a cleaning service.... Hi, I agree with Miami, have also a FIREFLY suit (2piececameraFF), it´s just perfect, very resistant material (SUPLEX) but also very light! I would suggest the 2 piece option so you can wear shorts on hot days Also the 2 genuine big inside pockets + lens cleaning cloth in the jacket are very useful! Hey AndyMan, Try this: www.photosol.com They have everything you need for your digital pet I used it and got excellent results, all those dots are gone after you wipe you CCD with the swabs on which you put a few drops of the ECLIPSE liquid. Hey Majki, Unfortunately there are no guys in Serbia and Montenegro who are BASE jumping as far as I know, YET... As for the objects jumpable in Serbia and Montenegro, there are some possible Buildings, but for your case (first jumps) the ???? Bridge in MN would be just perfect, it was already jumped by Croatians Neno Pešut and Igor Kecerin What iXic, you forgot that in Croatia there are also guys who are BASE jumping....guess I´ll spank your ass when I see you.... Phree, FIREFLY was/is also my first choice I tried to called them from Europe but all I got is the answering machine I also sent them a couple of emails and faxes, but till this moment nothing. Hi, I am trying to contact some suit manufacturers for some time now since I am looking for a new camera suit. I found two manufacturers very interesting, FIREFLY SUITS and MERLIN SUITS. Does anyone have some experimence with camera suits from these manufacturers? I contacted FIREFLY SUITS via email, fax and phone but didn´t get any answer or reply for 2 months now, are these guys still in buissenes? Same for MERLIN suits, contacted them by email last week, but also no answer till now... Can anyone perhaps suggest me some other suit manufacturer? I am looking for a freefly style camera suit with sitwings. Any suggestions welcome

Hello Olivia, My condolences to you and all the people related to Jason, I couldn´t belive the post on ABA, that it was him. I met him and you in KL this/last year, he was such a cool and calm guy, at least I have known him of that way. Sad and dark times for you Aussies, but hang on, life keeps going on. I met Neil at the Petronas event this year... a really nice and good person... just f... unbelivable.
