  1. I want to me most uselessness post, but I cant ....I actually have somethign intelligent to say sometimes.
  2. 1) Easy To Read...I assume they make good glow in the dark ones for night jump then? 2) Accurate over a long life span : How long should a good Altimeter last? And after you put a new one in a test chamber many don't work so they are sent back? 3) Mounting location : Where is a good mount location and where is a bad one?
  3. I am curious on how DZ's normally split money they earn from selling Video's of people skydives? Assuming the price is $50 for a Video, Does $20 go to the DZ for the Video Guys lift $10 for the tape and equipment wear and tear and $20 to the guy taking the video. Or does all of it go the the DZ and the video person is paid by the hour or something? I am also curious if the DZ offers a video for $50 but you dont wanna pay that much would they let another person jump with a camera if you had a seperate deal with them to make you a video for cheaper?
  4. I have seen many posts that tell a person what a good altimeter to buy is, but I was wondering how can you tell a good altimeter from a bad one? What should you look for when buying an altimeter? Have altimeters advanced as far as they can or are they currently developing better altimeters each year?
  5. Now it would be kinda interesting if whenever someone does post it would give you 1 post point. But people would be able to rate your post on a scale of 0 to 2.....and if you get a couple of 0 ratings it would drop the value of your post to around 0.25 averaged....in fact lowering your rating gain to only a 1/4 of a point for a bad post. On the other hand if you did a good post and people give you a couple higher rateing for the post...a person may actually end up with almost 2 points for a single good post. I am just using small numbers for an idea....just to get the point across. This type of posting rating system would promote people to post messages that actually have more value to them then to just post whore messages with no value at all for a single point.
  6. Why would I want to do a search...then I wouldn't have a reason to make the 50th post...
  7. I was just wondering how many posts it takes to achieve each level. This here is my 50th Post so hopefully its enough to not be a NEWBIE anymore.
  8. I'm an addict too!!!...Don't Forget Me!!!!
  9. I know it would be hard work. I was a fire-fighter for just over a year until they had to let me go because I was low man on the pole when budget cuts came. I was just interested in the idea...and since its not the same I would rather keep it as a sport rather then a job.
  10. Buy them a Bottle...not a Case o beer.
  11. I agree as a student...screw the handles...I don't have to pay for them.....If it was my own rig...then I'd like to save a bit for my next jump.
  12. Of course...I asked about what beer to bring before I even took my first jump...they showed me the BEER fridge..and offered me one...I refused and said I shouldn't till my first jump but..they offered a second time....I TOOK IT!!!!..... I'm just saving up to train at Kapowsin. Just figuring if I should stay with them as my home DZ or if I should go to Snohomish which is closer....I'm pretty sure I'm gonna stick with Kapowsin but hell..after a major event like Eloy when I can jump I may feel welcome at any DZ
  13. The main question I would see myself asking is " Do you trust that loop the next time you jump? Is is worth the risk it might break before it should?"
  14. Bump...I would like a couple more replies before it drops off the list...Thank You to all who replied so far.
  15. Hey Quatorze...I got a postmaster error from your email address....you got a new email...I'm trying to get in touch...email me at void425@attbi.com
  16. Naw, most of what we say on here, make so sense any way, kjsdagdl;hasdfgo;ldfj muckity muck That sound like lack of BEER!!! if you have that trouble better increase the Dosage!!!!
  17. As long as I get to post, I'm happy!!!! Only until the Clouds clear though!!! With no clouds in the sky, I don't give a rats A$$ about posting!
  18. Why should I call it post whoring when you just did? Can it still be considered post whoring if you are attempting to actually look like your saying something that may have some value, but it turns out the whole paragraph you just wrote really doesn't say anything at all? I think I need to grab another beer...I seem to have too much free time typeing right now.
  19. Hell, If I moved closer the the DZ it would be KEG o BEER!!!!! for a moving in party!
  20. But then where would they get their BEER?
  21. If you send me your extra cash for a couple weekends you would save yourself the trouble of having so many things to decide from . I would even send ya some BEER in the mail to help you get through those family outtings .
  22. I was going to buy a bumper sticker I saw at http://www.skywatchgallery.com/bumper_stickers.htm It was the bottom one that said " Yo! When in doubt, Whip it Out! " . I was even gonna pay the outragous price of $5.00 for it, but...after filling out the forms...they wanted an additional $5.75 for S/H...thats $10.75 for a dang sticker that could fit in a $0.37 cent envelope....I would love to post the reply I sent them in email for there shipping charges but they would lock the post for sure....rofl
  23. Would that be along the lines of....Don't pack a women's chute...tell her how its done and let her pack her own dang chute????
  24. So It sound's like I better look for a place closer to the DZ I took my training at....of course, if I do move that does mean that it will be a time for BEEEERRRR!!!!!
  25. I know I will be taking my training at Kapowsin because after first impression I got more of a family welcome there ( plus they were a couple hundred cheaper for the jump package )? But after I have my license should I stick with my Training DZ, Switch to the closer one? or Try to mix both?
