  1. Thanks for explanation on "negotiable". From and investigation point of vue I guess 200.000 in coins would be preferred. Loose some on the ground - they will eventually be found. Loose some on your escape-route, just follow the trace and make the arrest. But the jump would probably be.. more complicated?
  2. Ok, then List is off the list! And for the "negotiable"-part, is that not concidered to lead anywhere? Or even being said at all? At Wikipedia it says this could maybe indicate a non US citizen.
  3. I heard there are douts that he used this phrase, but IF he did, could that point to somewhere/something? Occupation (work/academia)? Region or country? Could it be terminology used in banks/accouting? If so, I have a new theory: It could be John List. He worked in a bank, maybe traded with other countries currencys and wanted to be sure he got 200.000 AMERICAN DOLLARS and not Italian Lira. (which would be like 1700 us dollars). Does this sounds plausible..? Or a little far fetched..?
  4. Thanks! And is this a point: there are many more "living" suspects than missing persons for the relevant time. Anyone except Melvin? Ergo more likely survived. And is there a "scientific" answer to who of the known suspects resembles the sketch most? Is it Gossett? And if he told the truth about the money in a bank in Vancouver, is it possible to ask Canada to look for it? Or is it the same secreacy as a Swiss bank account? Magne they should be put some pressure on: show us Cooper evidence or we will buy maple syrup elsewhere!
  5. ...wouldn't he be extremely cold? And possible use of wool-underwear wouldn't be much help bcause it was raining. I guess he would be desperate to get the body temperature up. Do some of you have a consequence analysis of how long he could have survived out there considering the weather/temperature? What could he do not to freeze to death? Run to the nearest house/cabin/bus/taxi? Then someone should have seen him? In the best case of where he could have landed landed, how long walk would he face to get some warmth? And would this be possible? And how could he return home/to a safe place without beeing seen? I guess his cold/wet condition and in a suit would draw some attention. In advance - thanks for any comments on this? And again sorry for any strange writing - jeg er norsk ( I'm norwegian). Thanks in advance
  6. I meant landed on the ground opposed to land in a river/lake.
  7. I have a theory: If he landed on the ground he probably survived. But he would loose some of his belongings on the way down,- clothing, glasses, shoe(s), or other items that would eventually be found. No such things surfaced. So.. he landed in a lake or river. (and froze to death). But then the parachute - because of it's size and white/light color would be spotted by divers. Didn't happen. Ergo: He didn't get his chute open, landed in water and sank with his belongings. Some people went missing, but Melvin Wilson a couple of months before the incident. (Vicki W's father was mentioned, who's he?) Then further on my hypothesis: The alias Dan Cooper is not a coincident. He came across the comic somewhere it was sold. So there is a french-canadian OR a francophone european link, and then Belgium/Brussels most likely. So my question: Have potential canadian citizens (living after 1971 or missing) been looked at? Have any of the known suspects - Kenny, Weber, Mc Coy etc. a french-canadian connection? Or were any of them at some point stationed in Brussels (Nato HQ) or in France, Luxembourg, Switzerland? A guess: He is (was) a canadian with local knowledge. Unless Canadian authorities were involved in the investigation, he went under the radar of the US. OR: He was a belgian citizen that lived for some time in the area before the crime. French was not his mother tongue because they have a really hard time speaking without an accent. But flemish (belgian dutch) is easier to camouflage.
  8. I'm new here and a Cooper novice, but one thing I wonder after having read about him here and other places on the net - I haven't found anything about who he could have been if he didn't survive. I see that the official stand is that "he probably didn't survive the jump". So aren't there any "good suspects" that were never seen again after the incident? And if not - doesn't it make it much more probable that he made it?
  9. if Kenny bought a house with the stolen money, shouldn't you eventually see that money in circulation? Is it possible to have spend a lot of the cash soon after the hijacking and that has gone un-noticed for so many years? (Sorry for any misspellings or odd phrasing, I'm norwegian).
