i checked out your site again. i think you were denied simply because there is no publicly accessible content, i.e. the only page you see is a login page. maybe a bit of up front content similar to the welcome page here, site news, the faq etc open to public. you could pull rss feeds for content as well.... from where and about what? maybe filter for keywords like skydive, parachutist, etc??? maybe allow public browse access to the video catalog with descriptions and thumbnails but require registration for downloading files. that would give you lots of content pages... i think this is the recoding you were talking about eh? is a valid train of thought and could make the difference between black and red. namaste, motherfucker.

I have been watching the numbers over the last few hours trying to figure it out. doesnt seem to be a direct relation or flat fee. i think that unique views come into play as opposed to raw hits. still think some sliding scale. maybe whatever deal the advertiser makes with google so some clicks pay more than others. dunno but i do know that the average per click seems to be much higher that i originally esitmated. closer to .25! seems too good to be true. imagine the revenue mega sites showing google ads are generating. we will see how this pans out in the next few days.... thanks everyone. namaste, motherfucker.

Dave, depending on your traffic and method of soliciting clickthroughs at first blush it looks to be about a dime a clickthrough. wont know for sure until a billing period has elapsed. i think there is some kind of ephemeral costing going on. but for someone with a hosted site costing $20 or$30 a month, a couple hundred clickthroughs would cover the cost. something to think about. i admit i have never thought of ad clicks as a revenue source, just clutter, but now am really thinking about shifting my focus and joining satan to create sticky content to get ad clicks!
