Wow, glad you're here to share the story. Nice work keeping a clear head; even if you didn't follow the Plan B of your choice, at least you made some decisions (and had enough luck ) to get yourself to the ground safely. There's an article about knee flying at Dale Stuart's website, but it says it won't work well with booties. Still, you might find something useful in the article anyway. Good luck!
