Very true. I agree completely. I do think its natural to go for the looks. Especially cause when you do see a couple that consists of one really attractive person and one not so attractive person you can't help but wonder how they got together sometimes. But. I do see it...and I dont think it's too rare. Of course I people watch a lot in NYC and you should see the odd matches you see there Maybe I'm just unique. I don't know but I don't judge on the outer look. I have pursued and dated guys that I had absolutely zero attraction to. But that never stopped me from giving them a chance. Attraction can only last so long. A good personality can last forever. *daizey*

Yes I'm sure looks do matter to a lot of people and you're right, it is true that if someone is attractive they may have an easier time finding dates. But that wasn't my point. Not giving someone the time of day and saying that it doesnt matter what they are like on the inside if they arent attractive jsut seems so wrong to me. Everyone deserves a chance. *daizey*

I don't find this to be completely true. Look at couples who meet online. Personality is typically what draws these couples together....And what about couples who were never drawn to one another until they had a long conversation with one another? Personality in a lot of cases determines everything before looks do. I completely disagree. Everyone deserves a chance. So what if they're not gorgeous and they have flaws. Personality is one of the most beautiful things out there. Saying that it doesnt matter what a person is like if they're not attractive is well...kinda low... *daizey*

I jumped my own gear on jump 15 which was my 7th jump after AFF. I came across something that was nearly perfect and it was too good of a deal to pass up! I sold the container shortly after and bought a new one which i just jumped this weekend.

I have had similar problems with fed ex...only they didn't leave it outside the door, they left it in the driveway by the steps leading up to the porch when noone was home Luckily nothing happened to it. This was the one and only time it has happened to me with Fed Ex though... *daizey*

Ceder Point is the one place I've always wanted to go to, but never had the chance to make it to. Up until recently my family and I used to be roller coaster fanatics-we've visited nearly all of the parks on the east coast but we've never made it to Ceder Point. However. I will be living just a few hours from the park this summer and fully intend to take advantage of that! *daizey*

Like everyone else im gonna say get to the doctor asap. Ive had tonsilitis mannny times and it sucks and only gets worse without meds. Also if they swell enough they will actually come close or actually touch which can affect your breathing...not fun to experience at 3am! Trust me! Hope ya feel better soon! *daizey*

3 jumps i coulda made:0:0 so I actually listened to the weatherman this weekend thinking making once he'd be right....of course he was wrong, and I missed out on jumping saturday. I'm really not that upset though because it was freeeezing! I did on the other hand get my new rig all put together - now i jsut need to get some jumps on it! *daizey*

I've seen 2 in my lifetime...one went across my front yard (we thought it was over and got back upstairs just in time to see it on the far side of our property-completely on the ground, destroying everything in site), the other was a little bit further down the road (it wasnt down on the ground though, but you could still see a lot of it...right before it hoppped over the mountain-did nothing to us since it wasnt on the ground...but nearly levelled a whole town on the other side of the mountain!) Its was both one of the scariest and most amazing moments of my life. It's odd that my area of NY got hit once...but when the same area got hit twice it was insane! I've been semi-obsessed with tornadoes since then, im petrified of them, but love them at the same time. I would LOVE to go chasing someday! Hope you get to go and have a blast! *daizey*

I noticed today that all of my polls seemed to disapear. I didn't even realize a thread had a poll in it until someone had pointed it out. Also, it also eliminates the sticky icons and the word sticky and the little paperclip for attatchments doesnt show up..... This is only an issue for me in Flat mode....if I switch to threaded its not an issue, but I typically view in flat mode... I did log out and log back in and that clears it up for some time....but it does come back.... I know of 2 other people who have experienced this too...not sure if any others have had it as well? *daizey*

Why? Whats the big deal? If it's a friend then who cares? How is hanging out with a guy friend alone any different than hanging out with girl. If you don't have any intimate feelings towards them, it's really not different at all. The concept of cutting your guy friends out just because you have a boyfriend seems so ridiculous to me... My roommate and her boyfriend constantly fight about guys shes hanging out with. I think its amazing. He thinks that whenever shes hanging out with a guy, she's cheating with him on with that guy. If that's the case, then there are some major trust issues. Chris, if you and your wife truly trust and love one another then I dont see what the big deal is. I talk to a few of my exes all the time and its not an issue. Nearly half my friends are guys and having a boyfriend doesn't stop me from hanging out with them-in fact he even hangs out with one of them on occasion. He has no reason to be suspicious and he trusts that I wouldn't do anything. I've never given him a reason to feel otherwise and he's never given me one either. *daizey*
