post one in the bum thread AND the Rack thread

I dont hate it, i just dont bother with it. Haven't "done" Xmas for about 15 years It was a fun Christmas we had when you and Karen were visiting. But it's about family and friends and maybe even Peace on Earth, not about presents (even though there were plenty of those). I have to say that too many Christmas gifts, esp. the ones you have to get for acquaintances, bosses, etc. are just overpriced junk that will go out in the trash. Then some I know spend the next 6 months trying to pay off their credit cards. Asinine, if you ask me. it was fun with your family John.

Copied From here http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=4420441#4420441 The other day I was at a Boogie, cloud was looking iffy. Load organiser said, "we're wating for the current load to land so I can check the conditions, before we manifest." Load lands, Load organiser speaks to fellow load organiser, He says, "im not comfortable in these conditions, so we are holding off for a while." So my load organiser relays this info to me, I say, OK no probs, we'll sit and wait a while see if it improves. Now My Load organiser tells another jumper on our load the same as i was told. His response, OK that's no problem, Ill pop over and see if i can join the other group on the load. Same discussion 2 very differing outcomes. BTW The 2 load organisers are world record holding jumpers with thousands of jumps, very well respected in the OZ skydiving scene. Now nothing bad eventuated from the jump i sat out from, but i was interested in the way the other jumper heard something completely different to what I heard. Just because you can does not mean you should. You are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! How's yours doing?

Not necessarily...one could argue that it takes unparallelled confidence, selfless love and security with one's self to overcome such trials in a relationship...and such strength is indeed rare, so I can understand how many people feel less optimistic in these situations. Some people are just enslaved to haughty ego's and lack the character/perseverance to overcome various trials in life... I'm amazed at some of the problems couples have worked through and how they refused to be solely influenced by the negativity and overbearing ridicule of cynics. best pot yet Bro

yeah why not just make travelling to Zhills a requirement Getting a 10 way together where i live is hard enough, getting 10 50 year olds together who can pull off a 10 way in my state would be near impossible. not everyone jumps in the states and not every state can meet your requirements easily. The cost for an hour in Eloy is $750 ( must be flown in one day) and coaching is $200 per hour. Any of the local tunnel rats (and AXIS I believe) can get this rate for any amount of time you would like to fly. Basically you can do coaching in the Eloy tunnel for just under $16/min for any amount of time you book. EDITED to add: The only way to get a better tunnel rate is to arrange 20 hours over 10 days (obviously you will need some friends to do this) and the discount is not significant. If you can afford this kind of tunnel time on your own, I would head to Utah and get some block time with Dusty Hanks or Davy Manning. The discount IS VERY MUCH significant. The rate for 20hr in 10 days is $650 per hour tunnel time that's $100 per hour saving, I find that significant. not true, a friend just bought a GP2 including WiFi back (i.e. a GP3 Silver) for under $200 for the sort of stuff that "most" skydivers use, the GP2 is more than adequate. and for under $200, the GP2 in my mind is a better value for money buy. My son's getting his ProTrack audible in the morning. Christmas Blues? Naw, just the incessant dissatisfaction that I can never find a really "oh WoW!" gift for my wife. We both have everything we need and most of everything we want. I'm tired of the world saying you don't love someone unless you get them the perfect gift once a year. Shouldn't how we treat them every day be the most important? It is to me. I love Christmas and its message of peace, and the gathering of friends and families, but I think the gift thing is overdone. I don't need nuttin'.
