Hi Pete Ive been using the Brian method for about 1200 jumps, Im pretty fussy about how i pack it and I make sure the bridle is not twisted or lose within the BOC and i make sure that there is no excess bridle stuffed into the BOC (which I maintain regualrly). I beleive with a good packing method done properly and a good throw of the PC there is (what I consider) pretty much zero chance of a bridle wrap. IF this is the case then might I suggest that your fiancée may just have made an error in packing his PC. Packing a PC in the method Brian suggests cannot lead to a bridle wrap. However packing it with too much excess bridle may. You are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! How's yours doing?

Non USPA dropzone let me do my own video
Squeak replied to joelgibson's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
through the eyes of a skydiver yeah it kinda sucks. But from a POV of someone who has never been in the sky before it's pretty much exactly as you would see it. I hope the video helps the OP relive the rush and fun of his Jump. Good for you dude. -

This, and I'm not lactose intolerant, but my baby is allergic (and breastfed), so I can't have any. So Delicious brand makes a pretty good coconut based chocolate ice cream, though :) In Korea, Baskin Robbins carried and Apple Mint that was surprisingly amazing and is probably what I would choose as my fave, if I could only pick one. Find some good Gelati or Sorbet.

Just wondering if any Seb locals have a room spare during the Invasion, happy to pay a daily rate. Or perhaps a nice flat peice of lawn to pitch up a tent. I can tent at the DZ but would prefer4 to not have to fight for amenities daily and the use of a kitchen would be great. will a jumpsuit help at this point?

Ummm, Yeah, not true, some petit ladies need weight belts especially if flying in formations or more static. Weight can help you to fly at a mid speed for the group your flying with. I know many small ladies and some very light guys who freefly with weight, depending on the group and type of FF jump. I think there's a few folks missing the point that it's an organised dive. with pre-planning and TM approval. No one is suggesting that it's a surprise drogue dance. You are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! How's yours doing?

What should a new jumper start with in terms of gear?
Squeak replied to DrDom's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
