Most people are amazed that I pack my own main. I "wasn't happy" with a rushed pack job I did a few days ago, and repacked my main in the hallway at work one weekend afternoon, some of the comments were quite funny.

Maybe a really really athentic skydiving name would be "loan officer." Hmmmm, maybe that's only funny to broke skydivers, or maybe just funny to me.... oh well, hey look, something shiny!!!

Ok, just reading the wires before the news. ¶(CAM) AND THINK YOU MIGHT BE HAVING A BAD DAY... CHECK OUT THIS 'SKYDIVER' IN ATLANTA. SHE LOST CONTROL OF HER PARACHUTE, MISSED HER DROP-ZONE AND CRASHED INTO SOME PINE TREES. THE WOMAN DANGLED 60 FEET OFF THE GROUND FOR NEARLY THREE AND A HALF HOURS BEFORE RESCUE CREWS WERE ABLE TO GET HER DOWN. [[ TAKE 2-SHOT ¶(2-SHOT) [[ CAM ON CAM ¶(CAM) Anyone know who this is? When?? Where? Looks like a night jump or at least sunset load due to rescue video at night. Screen shot of video too big to upload from work..........sorry. Looks like blue jump suit, blue helmet, and orange canopy... maybe a reserve???

I think my next dog will be named "whuffo." Unless of course he/she starts jumping, then I'll have to change it. Toggles will probably be the name of my next cat, once "Bob" kicks the kitty bucket, but that's won't be for a while i hope.

Well.... Personally, I'm kinda torn. I would go to my "home DZ" where I did all of my training, etc since I took the day off, but I don't think they are really doing anything special for Safety Day and another DZ in the area is. What to do, What to do... Maybe I'll just stay home and smack penguins!!!

I had like 1141.7 as a high on this thing the last time it went around. Guess I'll have to repost that high again when I get home........ till then, I know how I'm spending my day at work!!!

Ok, it's so nice in the Seattle area today, I looked up and thought I saw the Hubble fly over!!! Freaking Blue Skies WAHOOOOOOOOOOO. Snohomish said it would open at 1pm if it had enough jumpers. Just email Tyson or call, fax, whatever. E-group if you are a member...... etc Anyone know if K-Pow is opening? Please, lets not waste this beautiful day Seattle jumpers!!! Snohomish needs your business and I need some airtime!! (Sappy plea I know) Just trying to put the word out!!!

I think you nailed it. We are all afraid of the ground. When I was in high school, I fell off the roof of my parents house after the ladder collapsed under me. Since then, I avoid ladders if I can. I've bungee jumped and that was ok, but those last few feet really freak me out! -

Dont' ya hate that.... Another weird thing. I can't tell you most people's phone numbers or address off the top of my head, but if you ask me, I know exactly how many beers are in my fridge at home. Currently, there are 0.

working and cloudy! Jumped once yesterday before work and the clouds rolled in!! Off next saturday for Safety Day!!!

Congrates!!! Ive been licensed at my DZ for a while now, but didn't get around to filling out the stuff for the USPA. I finally did about two weeks ago, and I got my Official license in the mail yesterday!!!! Beer for the both of us!!!

Living and Skydiving in the northwest means you have to Jump when you can jump!!!! Something I learned recently. If you have the means to get to a DZ and jump......... why not???
