PLFExpert--I totally agree with you. I mean why is it so bad if we do wear makeup? Some of the comments on here seem to imply that if a girl wears makeup to the dz, she is silly. I don't think so. I'm much like Andrea, I wear makeup to enhance what I have. It is hardly noticeable. A little concealer to hide the late nights and a little liner to brighten my eyes. A little blistex to soften my lips. Big deal! Does it make me any less of a skydiver? NO! Does it make me feel better? Maybe. The fact is, I don't come to the dz looking like Tammy Faye. I'm not trying to impress anyone by wearing makeup. I'm just being myself. If that's not good enough, or if people think it's silly--then I'm happy being silly! So there! With my BLUSH and all!

Skygal, Boy, do we have a lot in common! I too, began jumping and had a few dates w/ my jump master. We did have sex. We figured out on the fourth date it really wasn't working (distance, etc.). I felt ashamed and worried it would affect my performance, and did not continue to jump there. I really regret that decision because I had formed friendships w/ the others there. Also, the dz I transferred to is not the same as far as the commitment to students and I don't like it as well. I wish now that I would have sucked it up, been cool about it all, and continued to jump at my chosen dz. But, I now have my B license and I'm jumping--so I guess that's all that REALLY matters! right??? Good luck!!! Kalake
