As far as the spider,I freaked when I saw em all over the road.I had never seen em outside of petstores.(I didnt grow up here).My wife thought it was ridiculous that I just had to have one. I used to take my snake "for a walk" .The neighborhood kids would find him and bring him back after I would pass out in my hammock.Then one time... dropdeded ------------------------------------------ The Dude Abides. -

I got a California King snake from my moms house years ago.I used to take the boys out lizard hunting for food.Ended up with a HUGE alligator lizard and it was a stand off for a long time but the snake came out the victor in the endAlso got mice from the pet store and the guy gave me a few tips on making them a little more "snackable".He took me aside and said "Im not supposed to tell you this but..." On one of our lizard hunts I ended up with a pet scorpion that had babies months after I caught it,strange.Then one time at band camp... Oh,and tarantulas are all over just outside of town,had one of them for awhile too. dropdeded ------------------------------------------ The Dude Abides. -

Well,my oldest stepson came over with the recruiter so Mom could sign the papers(hes 18 in October),then it was off to L.A. He signed up for ,I think he said 5 years.I would have hoped for a shorter stint to find out if this is what he wants. It was funny as hell when he told me "some guy yelled at me for 20 minutes because I couldnt pee". PEE BOY,I SAID PEE !!! Does this mean that you're married to your step-daughter's mother, and that her father has custody? __________________________________________________ Yep,she used to live with her mother and I and we still have a very good relationship.I kinda feel like I should take care of this myself but I also think I should let her father handle it.Im just a little pissed at my co workers attitude.He knows what his kid is like. I have a just turned 14 year old step daughter,she lives with her father. The guy I work with has an almost 17 year old step son that my step daughter has the hots for. My co worker informed me this morning that they talk on the phone a lot and she met him and a buddy at the mall last weekend. Now this kid is into drugs and kicked out of school.I know him and his buddies and how they treat girls and lets just say Im more than a little worried.I talked to my co worker and let him know that Im not happy about what could happen and his attitude is"boys will be boys". Im gonna sit my stepdaughter down and talk to her but Im not gonna expect that to amount to much. Both Dark Tower 5&6 are finished.Dark Tower 5 is supposedly due out this summer/fall from what I've heard. I have practically everything he wrote collecting dust on a remote bookshelf somewhere... I was really into his crap in high school, but then I just kinda outgrew it. There are books that are just so more worthy of my time __________________________________________________ Thats so true,none of his other stuff interests me really. My Dad gave me the key to his place(huge house) not too far from North Shore in Nevada City Ca.(hes out snowbirdin in his motorhome).Wish I could afford to go.Heavenly is pretty cool,got some mellow slopes but my favorite is Kirkwood .
