sorry-a little light trolling. I love the Vorkosigan books along with "Falling Free" Honor Harrington started as a good series but just went to long. Sort of like the Wheel of Time books. I think that the author is circling looking for a place to land with those. I've got Ellen Guon "Bedlam Boyz" on the way. If you haven't caught "Ender's Game" that's on my must read list. Shaman's Crossing is one that I just ordered-I've read the Fool and Farseer books. You should check out Green's Nightside books. As a rule I avoid female writers because they usually have strong, intelligent female characters and I like to read about elves, dragons, space wars and faster than light travel.
