  1. Yea it's very uncharateristic of me to bail early... but sometimes ya just gotta... err... umm.. take the road less traveled.. particularly when it leads to [censored for the faint of heart] . Wow I can't believe I just admitted that here! Peace Cory
  2. Hey Clay! It was a blast getting to meet a few other .com'ers! I'm definatly down for drinks when peeps come into town. Or are already in town... Or I'm out of town.. or... or.. fuck any reason to throw a few beverages down.. well you get the picture. And yea, sorry for having to bail early but forgot to infom Sarah (new non-jumper girl) to expect strings of uninteligible speach to come from each angle as the skydive lingo is still completely foreign to her. Eh, live and learn... However leaving early (thanks again for your car Rebecca!! way cool move!!! ) left open a great practical joke. I know I'm going to pay the price for this one: I borrow Rebeccas car to bring Sarah and I home, after Rebecca had graciously offered to drive us around leaving my truck and Sarah's car at our appartment complex. Of course this is after having a few beers. Well, I get home and call Rebecca's cell phone to thank her. Well I get the voicemail and instantly the urge overcomes me... ohhhhh I can really get her this time... so I leave a message: "Ummm... Rebecca. If you get home and don't see your car... umm.. don't worry too much about it. Everythings under control and I will definatly have your car out of the impound lot before you have to drive to work." Hehehehheehhehe.... yea I'm goin' to hell. Peace yall' Cory
  3. Hey I was at Petes last night! It's a decent bar. As for Houston not having any party people... Rebecca has something planned... though I don't know what yet, but I'll be there as well.
  4. Congrats Dude!!! Check it out... there are only 4 people with numbers between ours, mine just came in with: D-26582
  5. 1+:9:? 1: 9: great jumps, covering H&Ps to tryout a new canopy, mini-CRW jump from 7 k, and to top it off an amazing 16 way hybrid (8 base + 8 hang) in which I was NOT the last hanger to dock (yea freeflyer on his belly... it's ugly dude ). ?: 1st posting of hump number for actual cause, 1st Jedei jump, 1st successful bigway hybrid as a hanger, 1st CRW work jump... still counting.
  6. Heheheh... I'm just glad that I could drive home. Have ya' ever noticed that you can tell the next morning, by the way your car is parked, whether or not you should/shouldn't have driven home the night before ... I'm proud to say that my parking skills were spot on !
  7. And the result of the cat incident.... Rocco: "Because I thought it would bring some closure to our relationship!" To anyone who has yet to see this flick... do yourself a favor and go rent it IMMEDIATELY!
  8. Damnit, you beat me by mere seconds But I suppose that answers my question
  9. Is it wrong to look at that picure and immdiately think, "Dude, she just farted!" (yea, take another look at that pic).
  10. Mine is about 3x10 inches, just below the collar line... and for the most part did not hurt at all. All you feel is that buzzing, which becomes quite enjoyable (almost a meditative state). However, you can most defiantly tell when the artist is working directly over a vertebrae or the shoulder blade. As opposed to the rest of the back... over those areas the needle feels quite pointy .

Here are my freefly guys ...
  12. Yea what she said Bring it on back to Houston Cora! ... fun awaits
  13. Well... looks like it's time to break out the houseboys .
  14. Ok, the work has been done and is healing nicely... For yall that voted... The "Other" option won (the upper back took it by a landslide), so that is what we have here: Attached are one closeup (sorta') of the piece, and another shot of my back to get an idea of the tat's size. Peace Cory
  15. Ok, the back/shoulderblades seem to be ahead by a long shot... so... I've been playing with various sizes, seeing how they look against some random guy's back. I think I'm leaning towards the medium....
  16. Duuuuuuuuude.... at this point.... I think I've paid more in "first" beer than for my entire student training . Well worth it though! Check the SDSL board, quite a few of our "graduating class" are going to be there , jump, or not, just to hang and drink Cheers Cory
  17. Hey Matt, If you're down tomorrow for night jumps, you just might see the result
  18. Yup... just a bit of abstraction based on the basic positions . The forms just kind of came to me yesterday (ok I was daydreaming at work), and got me thinking... it's been about 10 years since I got my first (and last) tattoo. I have a few designs on other people, but have never created something that I found personal enough to drop on myself. Thanks for the compliment
  19. Ok yall... here is your chance to throw some input around (like you need an impetus for that). Consider the attached figures, particularly the linked figures… quasi tribal when place together. Where is this going to look “right”? I’m quite stuck between the ankle and just below the knee. Yeah, the upper arm is pretty much out, as I occasionally wear short sleeve shirts to work (corporate environment and all). So, hit me… ankle, below the knee, or just “that looks silly”?
  20. Contacts here... But, beware of loose goggles, as contacts don't hold up well in THAT much wind. I have a video, from my instuctors point of view, of my goggles flipping up on my forehead... while he was laughing his butt off.
  21. Ok, let's see how complex this looks (3/2/1):6:1 (+3) Humps 3: The number of jumps left before I go triple digit... I was almost positive it would happen this weekend. Oh well, it's something to look forward to . 2: Jumps on a demo canopy (SA2-170), sweet ride, though the 150 is calling me now
  22. Ieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee taunting the office bound denizen of Houston are we? See ya for sunset (hopefully)
