Whatever. I'm in too pissy a mood to argue, but today is NOT officially designated as one of those days that EVERYONE in corporate America gets free, such as Good Friday and the 4th of July. Some companies have chosen to shut down, and some, like mine, just gave us an extra personal day. Me too. And I know I wasn't the only one feeling that way. I think anticipation got the better of me. It's like we set ourselves up for a fall. All the scurrying and stress of Christmas plus the 'celebration' of new year's really just combine for a nice big fat let-down once it's all over.
