I thought your post was going to one of those introspective sappy paragraphs, but then "Baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me... no more" popped right into my head, and I felt bad knowing I was going to say something smartassy in your sweet little love post. Lucky me - you're all singing along!! you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

Egad, I just took my contacts out for the first time in a month!
Rebecca replied to grue's topic in The Bonfire
I feel your pain. I too am lax about my eye-care routine. I usually have to become very aware of my contacts before I remove them. I do maintain good eye cleanliness though. As long as you're comfortable, you'll be fine. Your eyes have a way of telling you when something's wrong. Don't go much longer than a month though. -
Excellent point... you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

Even better before 600 invitations are mailed... I think part of what defines a person as an adult is an ability and willingness to face your issues head-on, most especially when they affect SO MANY of your loved ones. Flight is a basic primal response to fear and or being overwhelmed - being a grown-up means dealing with it. Can't say I'd blame cold-feet. Happens all the time. How she handled it? Grow up and stop wasting everyone's time, money and emotions. This was unnecessary. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

You've gotta read into the clues a bit more. If you guys REALLY want me to come out and saw who it is, I will, but it might spoil the fun :P Read? Clues? Who am I, Nancy Drew? Jus' Kiddin'! I was just thrilled to have been included as someone 'crushable'!

(My version) Simple, but one of my faves. Put on a pair of pants I haven't worn in ages, and my ass fits in them again. Always makes me smile.

I admitted to myself and everyone around me when I wanted a cigarette - it's like facing a demon head-on. "Yes, I want a cigarette. Wanting a cigarette is OK. Smoking one is not." At first, they didn't get it. "No! No! You can't! Don't do it!!" But then when I explained why I was saying it out loud, it made more sense... and after a while, I stopped saying it. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

Think about this: He's 42 now, so he was about 23 in 1986 during Top Gun's release. She was barely 6 then. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

Uh, well, I did do the cold turkey thing. I used the support of my friends - since I was mostly a social smoker, they were usually around when the urge hit. When I was alone, I just made sure I didn't have a pack in the house, and kept reminding myself how far I'd gotten and how it would all be for nothing if I had even 1 lousy ciggie. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
