    My experience was that my dog was calm and quiet once we were in the air. Waiting around for boarding was a another story. She thought there was way too much action going on around her and that I was being so mean not to let her out of her crate. Good luck! Pink Mafia Sis #26

    Call the airline and make sure you can bring him. Airlines usually have a limit to the number of animals allowed in the cabin. When I flew with my dog a few years ago, Delta allowed only 2 pets so I had to reserve my dog's slot (I also had to pay $45). Some airlines won't allow pets though so definitely call to be sure.     LMAO! Yea... he asked me how I got there and I told him that we took off from the Destin airport. Then he said "You mean they towed you to the beach from the Destin airport?"     Awwwwww.... I hate hearing this. I lost my 12 year old cat to intestinal cancer in October (he wasn't diagnosed early enough to save him). Hopefully that's not the case for your kitty. I'm definitely sending thoughts & prayers your way! Pink Mafia Sis #26

    I've lived in all 3 of those cities... and Birmingham is not on the bottom of my list of the 3. Then again, when I lived there I lived in a nice area, had a fun job, and lots of fun friends. I'm sure that helped shape my opinion of the city. It was damn fun! Pink Mafia Sis #26

    So? I'm amazed at the number of people that think Alabama is one big cow pasture. Birmingham is an awesome city! I had more fun when I lived there than I did in college! ArmyMedic, you'll want to go to the Five Points area or the Lakeview area. There are great bars and restaurants at both. You'll see Five Points if you look at a map... and Lakeview is on the other side of St. Vincents Hospital. Pink Mafia Sis #26

    Hi Sara, I use soft paws on my cat. I think they work *great*. I trim his claws first and then apply the soft paws. I have to keep an eye on him for a few minutes after I put them on... or he'll try to yank them right back off. After about 3 or 4 minutes he won't be able to get them off and you're good to go. Of course, as the claw grows they will come off one by one. Every two weeks or so I have to re-apply 3 or 4. As long as you don't mind the maintenance they're a perfect solution. I hope that helps.
