A "sock puppet" is just someone who is anonymous, and MANY people here have anonymous ID's and profiles. So what's wrong with that? He certainly hasn't said anything that is in violation of the rules. So what's the big deal? Would you ban all anonymous users?

Are you offering to pay something for someone to drive those many miles and hours, round trip? You're talking about 200 miles each way - at least six hours of driving. You wouldn't want to turn your cost-saving plan into someone else's great expense and inconvenience. The only way this can work out is to find someone who was already going to make that drive anyway, and at the right time on the right day. Good luck!

I've participated in an ash dive,with others, for someone that none of us knew. It was requested, and we all did it just out of pure respect for someone's last wishes, and we did it at our own expense. Someone will be willing to step up and do it. Even easier if it's former friends. And if you provide funding to pay for the jumps, all the better.

The difference is he was talking about kallend, and kallend states his profession in his profile. Therefore you don't have to read a bunch of messages to learn that he's a teacher, you just have to read one of his messages, click on his profile link, and you've got it. There's a whole lotta false conclusion-jumping going on here...

How does anyone know that your profle info is true? Without personal face-to-face knowledge of a user-ID here, everyone is anonymous.
