    If you consider how many are asking and for how long it is a strong testament to how special a person Mitch is! I think your best bet is to contact CPCB: http://www.skydiveempuriabrava.com/en/ and ask them where Mitch might be. Maybe someone has an email address for him or something?! I'd hazard a guess he's no longer an active smoke jumper (age) so EmpuriaBrava phone or email are your best bets if you're not coming over any more. I think Mitch still pops in f.i. around Christmas / New Year over there, every now & then, but not sure. Success!

    Hi Colin, i suspected as much. Just so happened I was looking up Mitch myself, that's how I came by the answer and this *old* thread. I had the pleasure of meeting Mitch and got to talking with him, back in September of 1988 @ EmpuriaBrava (CPCB), but it would be a miracle if he remembers me :-) OTOH I guess *anyone* who met Mitch (and Maria) will remember him!
