I have MANY aquaintences.........only a few friends. I'm everyone's (ok, almost) friend. I have precious few friends though. I can count those I consider my closest friends on one hand, and good friends in general on two. My quality is quite high.

But, I have found, more often than not, you CAN be a great, true friend, and still not have many friends. It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1

Good point... But if I give them Budwieser (putting aside the "Bud's not Beer" arguements) after the "Freshness Date" date would I be a bad parent? Dooooowd! Bud has a "Born On Date". I guess that means immediatly after it is packaged, it's bad. It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1

In that case, you must not have a "good" copy of Kazaa Lite ++. Oh, yea, that's right, Kazaa tracked down all hosts of that file and shut them down. I guess that means I don't have it either.... It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1

Basic. Butter, salt, pepper, eat out of skin. Put butter in skin, eat skin.

I KNOW that every time I go up in the plane I COULD die. That, to me, is really no different than knowing skydiving will kill me. I treat every jump like it is THE one that will kill me. In that way I keep my senses up, and pay serious attention to safetly. To say that skydiving WILL kill me.... Hmmm, let me pose a question to you: If you knew, without a doubt, that you would die from smoking, would you quit? if you knew, without a doubt, that you would drive in a horrific automobile accident, would you quit driving? Fear holds many people back. The fact is that, for many of us, fear is what drives us forward. Since to me there really is no difference between what you are asking and what I feel every day, No, I wouldn't quit/yes, I would keep jumping. It's your life, live it! DVD Shrink is excellent. I've fit 3 hour movies on a standard DVD with no obvious quality issues. Exactly, Professor. This is an excellent program. In fact, I'd even consider paying for it. Ahhhh, On second thought, naaah. Come to think about it, I messed up once in Premiere and created a project that was too big for a DVD. (I ALWAYS create .iso images, though now in Pinnacle Studio 9.) I opened the file in Shrink, and had no problems getting it to 4.7 gig size. It took easly 1/4th of the time it would have taken Premiere to render/fix the problem. It's a nice tool to have. I don't know exactly how to work around this so it works with whatever they are trying to create, but I've been using DVD Shrink to compress larger dvd files and movies on to a standard 4.7 gig disk. Just last night I watched Cold Mountain, a 2 1/2 hour movie, that I burned on to a standard DVD. It look great as far as quality too. I'm sure there must be a way to create the DVD files in the authoring program and then use DVD Shrink to compress it to a standard DVD. DVD Shrink is a freeware program, and dual layer dvd's are still cost prohibitive. You can get standard +/_R's at WalMart for less than $.50 each now, and waaaay less than that on line. fireflytx and brains, download that program here and play with it. Can't beat the price... I'm no longer in IT! I resigned. Just not enough time to deal with Dinosaur Professors' fuck ups and get my own work done too. Now I just freelance. In fact, I hacked into a lab computer last week, on request from workstation support, to prove to that 'other' part of IT that they weren't even close to secure. And I did it without using a valid login. It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1
