  1. OK Becky, and the rest of you that may be surprised if/when you meet me: Vs. face to face meetings with total strangers? I am much more relaxed here. Those I have met here, then later met in person? Well, I am actually quite shy at first. I'm kind of a loner. I tend to wander off by myself, even at large gatherings (WFFC was a good example) until I get to know some people better. Note: If you want to know more about me, before meeting, I'm quite open and honest, in PM'S! Take what is posted publicly with a grain of salt, and that goes for probably 99% of the people posting here. Usually not. I say exactly that, then end up having 3 or 4, chilling, and driving everyone else home. Not that I don't have fun, I LOVE going out. I just enjoy myself as much with 2 or 3 drinks as I do with a case. As I stated above, nope. It's close, really close, what I post here in the forums, but the real me is much closer to what you would read in PM. It's your life, live it! 2. Not a bad idea at all. Now if I was only using my own money for my own purposes that would work, but seeing as I am only seeking donations to reduce my expense; it seems unethical to try to make a profit from this endeavor. Maybe next time. I'm with fallinwoman herre. I think you came up ALOT short last year. Even if the cash bask just defrays a little of the cost, it's all good! Use the card to pay for the tent! Get some of THAT back! It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1
  3. I answered i have landed crosswind, on purpose, less than 100 jumps. I have more than 100 now, but I did the landings when I actually had less than 50. It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1

  15. Fame and Fortune. http://www.emode.com/tests/fame/authorize/signin.jsp?url=/tests/fame/index.jsp James, you're likely to find fame and fortune in the Political World You like to be involved in things, you don't want to just sit back and watch them happen. Chances are, you're also driven by your ideals and want to really make a difference in the work that you do. But that doesn't mean you're unrealistic. In fact, you, more than some, probably have a really good grasp on the inner workings of people's minds — since you might find yourself trying to anticipate their actions to accomplish your goals. Yep, that's me, though I admit never having thought political wise, until recently. USPA Regional, step one. President of the USA, step 2,368. It's your life, live it! 18. Hey Darren, The vibes I picked up on while I was there last November for the Harvest Moon Boogie were freakin awsome! Hope the new ownership can keep the vibe level as high! By the way, who was it that stepped up to the plate to make sure those locals were able to keep their local dz? I'd like to shake his/her hand when I get the chance. It's your life, live it! 19. Probably, since I had given up trying to submit my answer on the web site. I just tried again, and got yet another internal server error. I love PD. It's all I own right now, period. I'll still buy again, but this "ad/contest to raise website hits" crap gets to me. It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1

  22. Internet Explorer, click View, scroll down to toolbars, and remove the check by anything that says Yahoo. I have checks by Standard, Address, and links since those I use alot, and I also have a check by lock the toolbars so they don't get messed up on me. If that doesn't work, pm me and I'll talk you through uninstalling the "Yahoo Experience" while leaving messenger in place. It's your life, live it! 25. I'll go digital someday, when the equipment goes from being learning/disposable to vital, but for now, as I'm taking teeny tiny baby steps, I'm looking for the cheapest route. I mean, if I developed all those pictures I shot on Sunday it would've been over a hundred bucks to see what I was doing. I'm picking up a film scanner (not cheap, but I have lots of negatives I want to digitize). I found out that my local Walgreens will develop a roll to negative only for $2.15. I see a couple of cool looking shots on my beer roll in the negatives, but have no prints, yet. I'm using cheap film, negative only developing, and will be using a scanner. Seems good enough for me, for now at least. I guess what I was trying to say is, if you have access to a film scanner (or at least a flatbed scanner with a tranparency adapter), you don't need to pay full price for developing.
