  1. Actually, Mr No name, no dropzone, no jumps, no gear, no profile newbie troll, it's a term used by all, for all. The one for skydivers is BSBD. But you already knew that, didn't you? It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1
  2. I voted! Then I replied about how I voted! Then I snuck a pic in of what I'll be getting, hoping he'll see the light and get a Mirage..... Hint hint Nothing personal, I just hate packing wings reserves. That should have no bearing on him. Very sorry Steve. Carry on. It's your life, live it! male vs. female

I looked down your blouse, saw a nice bra, and must agree. Yes, you are all female! It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1

  5. I vote for #1. I've spent enough, but now the non-smoking is adding up for my new container. Simple, yet exactly what I want. This spring I hope..... It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1
  6. My Neptune was $249. A bit higher than your target though, and I converted it to wrist mount anyway. It's got way too many cool features to stuff inside a helmet. It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1
  7. Oh, those will work fine for the video. Too bad that's not what I need it for. The video D-box fills the top platform. I'm looking for a plate that will extend out from the flat top, to hang the EOS (and eventually 10d) upside down, yet be easily removable. I really don't want a big chunk of aluminum or steel jutting out from the front of my head when the stll isn't being used. I'm busy sketching possible quick release still mounts, where the entire mount quick releases from under the video, allowing the video to be seated in the same position no matter if the still plate is there or not. 8. Wow, how ironic, I came here to pose the exact same question, sorta. I just purchased a Hawkeye TM, since I finally decided that my System 3 was just too snagadelic. I love the helmet. It fits me like a glove! The chin cup seems to be in the perfect place, unlike the BH Optik which just didn't fit my face profile as well. Here's my problem though. I want to keep jumping my TRV, that's why I got the TM, but I don't want to lose my EOS for all my jumps, just some of them. After I get a few more wingsuit jumps under my belt, I'm going to add the camera back into the mix, but without stills, for now at least. I'd still like to be able to hook it up for the occasional RW jump though. Does anyone know of a mount system that can be quickly and easily removed, without messing with the video mount too much? I know, it sounds impossible to me, and just might be, but I figured this would be the best place to ask. p.s. My Hawkeye does not have a cutaway system on it, yet. Any suggestions there? Do you think the BH cutaway system would work on a Hawkeye? It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1
  9. That would make 2 of us, but for 2 different reasons at the time. It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1
  10. Of course you could! You're a girl. I don't hit girls. Not even the ones that hit me first. That video is what worries me. I ran into the same thing with my Gateway. The great majority of motherboards with integrated video mean when you want to upgrade, you're screwed. That, and support for newer operating systems and hardware might also be a limiting factor. Windows 2000 was released less than 2 months after my system was built. You would assume a big name company would introduce updates, right? Wrong. I upgraded since it was a no brainer, then was unable to use my DVD for over 2 years, until I got a different DVD software player. Their answer? Buy a new decoder card. Really, almost all prefabs will use one of those motherboards, for about the same price. As I said, just walk into WalMart and buy a box. Chances are you'll be happier in the long run. That, or have Seth build you a decent one for very close to the Dell price. .....Who am I kidding. I'm a guy. I might as well be talking to a brick wall. ;-)
  11. Well, duh Val. We already knew you would say that. We just added our 2 cents to make noise. Everyone knows you would take the advice of another female. If 300 males posted how good, and inexpensive an eMachine, Gateway, HP, Compaq, Sony, ect. was, and 5 females said they sucked, buy a Dell, well, we know where that would go. We're are just the between the lines filler. Oh, and wildblue also saying Dell, he's whipped and doesn't count. Edit to add: p.s. Can't wait to see you again. I've been looking forward to opening a few more doors and pulling out a couple more chairs. It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1

  13. My Gateway. 2weeks old, Hard drive froze up. Locked up tight. 4 1/2 weeks old, Power button on case stopped working (bad contacts) 6 weeks old, power supply kicked the bucket. 3 months, Gateway multi-function keyboard ceased to live, except for the num pad. 4 months, 2nd Hard drive failed. 7 months, 3rd Hard drive failed. 13 months, wanted to upgrade video for newer games. Can't, no AGP slot. This is just the majors. There have been countless minors, like the glaring lack of support. I paid for the 3 year on-site. Dumb, very dumb. 3rd Hard drive and keyboard were never replaced, and I was required to do the work myself. I know, I could fight, but what's the point? I'll never buy another Gateway, and I steer everyone I possibly can away from them. As far as new, prebuilt computers go, Val, they are all essentially the same inside. Go to WalMart, buy a new eMachine packaged with a 17" flat screen CRT monitor for 6 or 7 hundred bucks. It'll scream for all you want to use it for, and you get local service and/or returns. 14. Almost forgot, he is one of the best pilot/spotters there is. If you jumped from Mike's plane and got a bad spot, blame someone else on the load. Probably a gas-passer in the front somewhere. If that's the case, feel lucky you got full altitude. It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1

  16. I have to agree with the riddler on this one. If you must get a new computer, get a laptop. You can actually walk into a WalMart right now and pick up a Celeron powered HP with a printer for just under a grand, or an Athlon powered one with a printer on line for under $900. 17. LOL...it doesn't really matter. With the new technology in bras these days, it's all smoke and mirrors anyway! Is that one of those Hydros, natural, or the Air Jordans? LMAO 36 C It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1
  18. Oh, I know, I'm just playing with ya. But, no one asks your BMI when talking about wing loading, they all want to know how much you weigh! Nah, they want to know what cup those are. It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1
  19. You silly man, it's all about the number for a girl! Oh, numbers. I get it! That's like 3 times at a crack, 5 times a day, 'till the bow at the knees becomes semi-permanent, right? If you like numbers, go for the BMI instead.
  20. I'm too squishy, my clothes are getting a little tight and I don't want to go up a size! Physical fitness is different than losing a set amout (like 15 pounds) of weight. Besides, sex is a very good exercise. Even if just killing kittems. It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1
  21. I gotta agree, at 33, naptime is starting to sound better and better to me. Too bad the 4 year old is a bit too much like me. Can't trust him if you can't see him. 22. From the pictures I have seen, even if only briefly, one MUST ask the obvious question: "Dear God, WHY????" 24. because, when either Mike OR Charlie are flying it, it's a fast mother. 7 minutes to 14 or so, and usually less than 15 minute turns. Yea, 4 loads an hour are the norm. SWEET! It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1
  25. I'm actually running on 2 or less hours of sleep. My oldest daughter was up most of the night sick, and yes, I was up with her. She's resting peacefully right now, but her 4 year old brother got up at 6, so I don't get to sleep today. Early to bed tonight, I can see that coming. It's your life, live it!
