  1. It's not MD, Viking. MS can, on occasion, be beaten. My uncle, 15 or 20 years ago (I was young, and can't remember exactly), was diagnosed with MS. Over the course of about a year, his condition worsened. Toward the end of that year he was spending about half of his days in a wheelchair, and there just wasn't enough strength in his legs to go all day. Then something hapened. Nobody, not even the doctors knows what. One morning he got up and told my Aunt he felt better. He really did. Within a week he wasn't using the wheelchair anymore, and was back into full swing at work (foundry) within a month. Remission is a good thing, even if there is no reason for it. 5. A few small rigging orders from me too. Never any problems. I won' be internet ordering anymore though. I didn't like the idea of giving card info without knowing an exact amount. It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1
  6. My thoughts: Me wikey, of course. Now the whys': Content. 8 of 10. Pink Mafia. I saw pink, lots of pink, which is cool. I saw no tommy guns though, which is synonymous with mafia. Need tommy guns. Oh, and some more sky pictures. Navigation: 9 of 10. It's pretty easy to get around, good layout. Take this as a grain of salt though, as I'm one that actually prefers frames. That way the menu is always in view. Load Speed: 10 of 10 from a broadband point of view. Not too graphic intensive, and the thumbs load fairly fast. Good quality, and nicely contrasting colors. Possible improvements, In my humble opinion: Sky and/or in-the-plane shots. Lots of them. Daytime ground shots, or at least more of them. Party shots are cool, but the darkness hides beauty. Frames, or at least a frames version. You peeps are going places. Nice work. I see a nice group forming in the future. It's your life, live it! 9. That still doesn't answer the question. Turtle, you were harping about the basics. It is a pretty basic question. OK, Justin, what kind of neutral are you then? There are 2 distinctly different kind of neutrals when it comes to U.S. policy. Are you: 1. Undecided neutral-sitting on the fence, not sure which way to go. One bad move and you're Anti-US, one positive one and you're Pro-US. 2. Couldn't care less what the US policy is type of neutral. The "Swiss" of neutrals, if you will. It's your life, live it! 10. That's what I was thinking. This really caught my interest: As much as I may not like what MJ has done with his looks, I've always enjoyed his music. I have NO reason to hate him. Allegations are just that, allegations. There is a big diference between accusing someone and them actually being guilty, not at all a fine line. It's called the burdon of proof. If real proof actually exists, I'm all for hanging him. Until the day the jury says he's guilty though, he is innocent in my eyes. If he buys his way out, that does NOT make him automatically guilty. a quick, quiet, out of court settlement can save a career. A local sherrifs deputy here was accused of statutory rape. He lost his job for misconduct. He was found innocent, but is now deeply entrenched in litigation with the county. He lost his job because he was charged, not because he was convicted. Just being involved in a suit can be devastating. He lost his wife, custody of his kids, and his livelyhood, because of alligations. I say let a jury judge him before you do. It's your life, live it! 18. I don't think you meant .bmp if she wants a jpeg! Duh, whoops, yea. What he said. I've used my method for quick save to bmp, but I've not tried it the other way around. Sorry. But, it does work nice for saving a picture you want to use as a desktop background. You can use any bmp without turing on active desktop (a system resource hog), but that's another thread. Now, off to try it in reverse to see if it works.... It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1

  22. An even simpler way is to post it here, or even just display it in an internet explorer screen at home. Right click on the picture and select save as. I know, most people just click save, but if you look, there is a drop down to change the file type. Click that drop down, select .bmp, and click save. The fastest way to convert, period.

  25. Down in MO to me. LOL SEMO, Charleston MO airport. Don, Don, and Ralph. 3 old guys that started a DZ for the love of the sport, not the money (they all have real, weekday jobs). Where ever you are, it's worth the trip. The Porter doesn't fly much any more. Lack of interest I guess. Last I knew, they had a 205 and a 206 also. It's your life, live it!
