    I just fainted!!!! holy crap! Are you saying coffee free???? holy crap!! I'm in shock. Yep, It's been about 5 years since I had a cup of coffee, and that was decaf. I used to drink a pot and a half a day. Believe it or not, coffee's just not worth it without the caffeine. Oh hell, a pot and a half is nothing. I was up to almost 3 pots in a 24 period. Yes, all by myself. But,then had some strange test results and the Dr. made me cut back to under 2 pots a day. which I manage. but, crud to give it up completely?? eeeeeekkk No matter how slowly you say oranges it never sounds like gullible. Believe me I tried.

    A morning coffee thread? Oh I'm in love now!! But, just to be clear anything I might say before my 3rd cup of coffee should be ignored.     As someone who's practiced law for 25 years I can tell you that it's largely a layman's myth that that happens much at all. Most often, if the woman reports it, the man will be prosecuted and then it will be in a jury's hands; and most juries, even urban ones, tend to convict in rape cases. The main evidentiary exception is when the physical evidence like DNA, etc proves a no-match to the defendant. People often presume that loopholes and technicalities exist, because it so frequently gets said, in contexts where in fact it's usually not the case. Just simply saying it does happen.     Different kind of alien, eh? Parte une ou deux? Funny story, years ago, when the cold war was just barely over, I was walking to the plane with a Russian tandem passenger. Walking with us was a sport jumper who was also a Ranger stationed at Ft Lewis. He asked my passenger "Are you Russian?" The passenger replied that he was. The ranger seemed to mull it over a few seconds, then stare straight at my passenger and asked "You ever see the movie Red Dawn?" No answer from my passenger, but I was having a hard time not laughing. Gotta love those gung ho Rangers.

    I read Battlefield Earth while recovering from femuring. I don't remember it being that bad. Maybe it was just the hydrocodone.
