General thoughts on kids being able to do a Tandem
promise5 replied to promise5's topic in Tandem Skydiving
Who cares? What's more important is will a jury believe they should have known the risks. Very good point, as we live in a VERY lawsuit happy society. UGH!! No matter how slowly you say oranges it never sounds like gullible. Believe me I tried. -

See, this is the problem with you younger folks and that we no longer have the draft. As a much, much younger man I found that what you are concerned with was official uniform in the US Air Force. It looked 'everyday' to me. JerryBaumchen lol I have to admit i refused to run with my dad every time he would wear his "official" regulation Guard PT uniform. I don't even wear shorts that short and the knee white high socks, eeekkkk!! No matter how slowly you say oranges it never sounds like gullible. Believe me I tried.

Better yet, to be able to make the decision, for yourself, whether or not to have a weapon available, in order to protect yourself and your loved ones. Careful. That sounds suspiciously like you support the individual right to choose. Many around here think their right to choose for you is far superior to your rights. You have the right to choose as long as they agree with your choice. If you make the wrong choice, they demand the government make it for you. I'm copying that and pasting it in a few places

Ya There is always those That is why a big portion of my weapons carry course was spent on talking to LE in case some ass hat forces you to use force A couple of points they made 1 DO NOT use reloads in your self protection weapon DA's have used that the same way you indicate 2 Never say anything about killing or anything like that. You tell them you kept firing until there no longer was a threat Sad one has to do this but that is what we live in today I will once again recommend: if you have been forced to defend yourself or another with deadly force, the police are not necessarily your friends. You have just been through a very traumatic experience. You are not ready to make any statements. Your statements will be much more coherent and helpful AFTER you speak with your attorney. If you have been placed in this situation: 1. Render first aid as appropriate 2. Call 911 and tell them someone has been seriously injured and the address. That's all they need. 3. Render the weapon safe, place it in the open away from you, and make it clear you are not a threat to responding officers. 4. Call your attorney. 5. STFU If anyone can improve on this list, please do. Remember the phrase, 'anything you say (and do, and gesture, and body language) can and WILL be used against you...'. So, say and do as little as you can. Get behind closed doors with your attorney even if you have absolutely nothing to hide. The police are not on your side. The DA is not on your side. There is family out there that will want to sue you. There are groups out there that might want to use this event for their own purposes. The media is not on your side. Don't make it worse. Everyone likes Dirty Harry in the movies, but he can only exist in the movies. In real life, he would be crucified. Completely agree!!!! No matter how slowly you say oranges it never sounds like gullible. Believe me I tried.

I know this might sound a little to simple, but why not talk/to consult women that have been through the experience and what "they" would prefer to have to feel safe. Also, some people need to get out of the mind set of " well, did you try this or did you do that, maybe if you had you could have prevented the rape" UGH Many times only a .45 slug to the chest would have stopped them. No matter how slowly you say oranges it never sounds like gullible. Believe me I tried.

Love both of those. But, wait someone will say that by having those signs posted that it was somehow pre-meditated. *eye-roll* (wish we had action smileys) No matter how slowly you say oranges it never sounds like gullible. Believe me I tried.

A response on FOX news to Bidens comments: Fire your 2 shots and then ask the intruder to please wait and give you enough time to reload. No matter how slowly you say oranges it never sounds like gullible. Believe me I tried.

I know this is a little off topic but, I've noticed that a lot of guys are riding the street bikes instead of what I always heard called a "fatty" or "fat boy" like a Harley. Maybe its what I grew up around but I don't know they seem sexier to me. So, basically I'm asking why you chose the style of bike you did? No matter how slowly you say oranges it never sounds like gullible. Believe me I tried.

At the zoo? Because otherwise, erm... never mind. lol lol Believe me that's one of the silly things people ask when you live in Alaska. Oh crud, there was a web site that had all the "silly" questions people have asked of those living in Alaska. The can you see Russia is a big one. What Language do you speak there is another.
