I cant jump over winter because the DZ i have my jumps paid till up to my Check dive is closed for three months! :( Luke

Hello everyone! I have been hiding in the backgrounds for a while, posting every now and then. Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Luke and i live in Wisconsin. I am 18 and started skydiving August 10th. My brother gave me a tandem gift certificate last Christmas. I absolutely fell in love with skydiving and now I am three jumps shy of my A liscense. Too bad i'll have to wait till spring to jump again! Luke "A poor college student!"

I managed to get a couple jumps in the other day and it was only 4 degrees at altitude!!! Bbbrrrrr.....actually it wasn't too bad during free fall, just mainly under the canopy. (Fingers freezing off) I can't wait for summer!

I live in Wisconsin and the DZ is closing VERY soon... I wanted to start a discussion for all the summer deprived skydivers out there! I know it sucks and i'll have to make a trip or two down south to the closest open DZ, while i'm anxiously awaiting spring. I'm interested to hear any other comments about the cold......
