adding to say the only thing on the web I can find is from a vampire website saying blood rich in endorphines tastes less metallic. So maybe my problem is not so much medically related as it is related to me needing to get more excitement in my life!

I guess I don't want to go to the doctor about this, it is not really a big deal, just a question that I have about something that has been more and more apparent...I bit my lip this morning, only after I tasted metal did I realize I was bleeding. My blood is extremely metallic, and I am wondering if this is normal. I remember what blood tasted like before, yes it was a bit metallic, but this morning all I could taste was metal. It was as if I had a screwdriver in my mouth or something. A few weeks ago I dropped a glass and I had a piece sticking in my foot. After that started to bleed a bit, there was an overwhelming smell of metal. The weird part is I have a nickel allergy and cannot tolerate certain metals on my skin or well, in my mouth. (plastic forks at my house!). I do not eat meat, and I also cannot take anything with zinc because it makes me faint. Oh geez. What the hell is wrong with me!! Anyway, so I guess my question is whether it is normal for my blood to be so metallic tasting and smelling for that matter. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

This is very true. Accutane has been said to have serious side effects for people with depression, and there are stories of teenagers on the drug having been said to cause suicide. Not that I am justifing an excuse as to why someone would fly a plane into a building...IMO it was an attention driven plan to go out with a bang. So to speak.

wow! that's a beautiful picture. I was actually headed to Oregon a few years ago, and then was rerouted...but my friends ended up in Seattle instead (well, Seattle first then Shoreline). They absolutely love it. I haven't gotten out that way yet though. I like the sound of the summer weather! I am more of a water girl so where ever I end up I hope it is near the water.
