He also painted an amazing scene from LP for a Ian Aitken -- if you're looking AT the bar and you wander up and sit on the hill to the right of it and look across the former landing area at the mountains, at sunset ... a lovely picture. I met Dave at LP one year thanks to Ian. Trying to recall the year but I "think" it was the late 90's ... ANYway ... he had some great stories about some of his paintings and where they were and how they came about. And he had some amazing artwork stowed away in his van. I have some t-shirts of his somewhere around here. I guess it's time to dig them up. To everyone that knew and loved him, I'm sorry for your loss. 'Shell
