For you budding Jello show makers - science comes through
Shell666 replied to Slappie's topic in The Bonfire
Naaa... its all those conjugaisons that get me.... Does it take a S in the subjonctif or not??? PS: Canadian invasion in Jan? Alas, probably not. But I have been told by my boss that I have to take the 19 days vacation owing from LAST year so if you could kindly send me a large bag of money, I would consider visiting! 'Shell 'Shell -

Zed. Such a smarty pants! Why would I go all the way down to California first when the Blaine crossing is only 178 kilometres away? Because in the world of LP, Byron is NEXT DOOR to Canada (you didn't get out much when you were there, did you??) Hehehehe ... she said "on her" ... 'Shell 'Shell -

Yep, I think I did pretty good for an LP virgin. Even if I didn't know how to pronounce "toque." What's the last letter of the alphabet? Oooh oooh pick me! I can help with that! You know where to find us ... hang a left at Byron and you'll be in Canada ... we'll probably be on the Chesterfield. 'Shell 'Shell -

SOOOOOO not complaining about them! and yes, perhaps next year I should come help make them. I wasn't alerted to shot-making party this year - next year I know just to follow your boobies. You're new ... you'll figure that out eventually!!! 2 words --- dry ice We'll probably use the freezers again next year but we'll take them out a little sooner so they have a bit of time to thaw. And so we can test them ... a few times ... just to be sure they're okay for human consumption. 'Shell 'Shell -

I didn't make the shots at LP, so I don't know exactly what their water/alcohol ratio was. 1:1 for the vodka and rum about 0.75:1 for the tequila (1:1 is WAY too strong) Come make them with us next year - it's an experience (and don't listen to Joy when she says it's okay to drink them warm ...) Unless they get frozen (we had a few get frozen at LP this year). Ever try to eat frozen Jello shots? They do *not* go down easy. You complainin' about our frozen jello shots??? Hmmm ... me thinks next year you don't get any ... Had we got our shit together and made them on Wednesday or Thursday, we would have had time to gel them in our trailers but, we only had one day so Stinky came to rescue and let us use the freezer in the bar. Jellosicles are better than no jello at all! 'Shell 'Shell -
I'll take one! 'Shell 'Shell

We have photo radar here in Edmonton and the registered owner is the one that gets the ticket and has to pay it. Doesn't matter if someone else was driving your vehicle - you have to pay the ticket. But you do get a copy of the lovely photo (suitable for framing, of course!) 'Shell 'Shell

PICNIC - problem in chair, not in computer And one of my favourites ... when our department managed the liquor permits for student events on campus, they were required to have security at their events (student members, etc) and were required to tell us who the security was --- the Aboriginal Students' Association applied for a permit and under security they put FBI (Freakin' Big Indians) 'Shell 'Shell

Here's my baby ... an almost 4 year old white Boxer. We refer to him as the "big white cat" as he acts more catlike than doglike. VERY laid back mellow dog who's perfectly content as long as he has a soft chair to lay in and a blankie to keep warm, or is sunning himself on the hot tub cover! 'Shell 'Shell
