  1. It better not be to old!!!!!!! I just started (15 jumps now in an IAD course) and I'm 54. I think its a lot more about attitude, willingness to learn, and physical condition than what your age is.
  2. 53, 4 months shy of 54. Did a tandem with my wife. Started Static Line course the next weekend, got 7 jumps in before DZ closed for the winter. Heading back to DZ this weekend (beautiful spring weather) to get back in progression.
  3. Airtwardo, I don't care what everyone else says about you......................I think you are a "Class" act. I'm taking my son (22) this spring to the DZ I am a student at for his first Tandem. I can only hope his face looks like your sons does in that picture. Yes, "Class Act."
  4. Welcome to the Forums, your comment about "lurking" has inspired me to post (as I have been lurking since September) I also have a goal of getting my A licence as soon as my local dropzone reopens. I am doing a Static Line course in Eastern Washington. Only got 9 jumps in (one of those being a tandem) before the zone closed down for winter. Yes we get WINTERS in Eastern Washington! I can't wait to get back to it and get going again. Keep me posted on your progress. Jdkalou
  5. Real quick question. I'm new to the sport, 9 total jumps going thru IAD training. Going to Hawaii for 2 weeks in January. My wife and I want to do another Tandem while there. I found a DZ on the island we are staying on and herein is the question. The DZ is not listed on this site, or does not come up in any of the searches on this site I've done. In fact only 2 DZ's pull up when you put the state of Hawaii in the search engine, and neiter are on the island we will be staying on. Would it bother you that the DZ doesn't show up on Dropzone?
