"Low-dose birth control may cause orgasm pain New research links low-dose birth control pills with greater risk of pelvic pain and pain during orgasm in women. " Kind of ironic??? Don't yo think,... I mean the things we put women thru, so we can have our jollies? The very pill that enables,...disables???? C But what do I know, "I only have one tandem jump."

http://www.dropzone.com/fatalities/Detailed/720.shtml Nice response first: One of the first major tragidies in skydiving was the load that got out over the great lakes! On average excepting Arizona, you are never more than 30 miles from a body of water that you can drown in! In many locations you are never away from a body of water you can drown in. Many people have drowend in skydiving. My real response: FOLLOW THE FUCKING RULES! If you can't follow the fucking rules don't jump,... Have a nice day!

I agree with you, you can't go wrong with a Racer.

I just wanted to share this headline. LA Times 1 May, 2013 I guess they were hungry,.... http://www.latimes.com/news/nation/nationnow/la-na-nn-jamestown-cannibalism-20130501,0,3674642.story (Don't know how long this link will last.) But what do I know, "I only have one tandem jump."

Don't blame the fed for unmitigated greed! "It is now twenty-five years since the Reagan Administration eviscerated America's century-long tradition of antitrust enforcement. For a generation, big firms have enjoyed almost complete license to use brute economic force to grow only bigger. And so today we find ourselves in a world dominated by immense global oligopolies that every day further limit the flexibility of our economy and our personal freedom within it. There are still many instances of intense competition -- just ask General Motors. " The "Banks" were given an unlimited amount of power to do what ever they want. Every "Blue Sky" Law passed to prevent outright deception to protect the unwitting victim from criminal acts were repealed in the 80s' using this type of logic!!! What was a crime in the 20 - 30s' is now consideered deregulation ,...so that our economey can get "started" ??? But what do I know, "I only have one tandem jump."

Well, don't just hope then. Sunny blues skies or not, if you feel like you need more time, take it. Don't feel rushed because they want you to or you think you have to jump. The sky will always be there, but you know that! This is part of my point, that so many overlook: Newbies Don't know any better! So saying to a newbie that you should go out and get more training, whatever, is just making their lives more stressfull and is not what people that know better should be sayin!!! I know everyone who shares this opinion means well, -
ooooh - I need to learn this. RIGHT NOW Invest wisley???? WTF??? Unless your a martha (u) Stewart who had serious help, as most of those wall street assholes do,... We have been brought up with the idea that if we invest (x) dollars every month, (or whatever story these scam artists spuew out of their pie holes) Anyways the promisse of compound interest didn't pan out for millions of investors, etc!!! Millions over the last 30 years have actually lost money by their individual retierment accounts, savings accounts etc, ( as compared with inflation) This is the biggist scam of or in world history! Ya so go put your hard earned cash into the bank, CAN ANYONE SAY THANK YOU MAY I HAVE ANOTHER AS WE ALL TAKE IT UP THE ASS!!!! When I was a kid, back in the 60s', that's 1860s' your you youngsters out there,...BANK SAVINGS ACCOUNTS WERE 8 to 11 percent, depending on the type of account!!!! In the fucking age of Aquarious, the 60 -70s' savings accounts started droping to the 8 -7 percent!! By the time the fucking freewhelling Woodstock assholes realized they could screw millions by increasing costs and reducing savings accounts rates to the low 5 -6 percent and the introduction of fee's,... And what is a kids savings account percentage today??? .95 percent and if your lucky yuou might find some kind of 1.5 cash percent if you maintain a 1000.00 average yearly balance,... So thank you big buisness and Regan the biggist ass reamers in the modern world!!! But what do I know, "I only have one tandem jump."

Here's one for thought: "THE LESS YOU KNOW, THE STRONGER YOUR OPINIONS ARE,..." People who hold extreme views on complex policy issues tend not to have thought all that hard about the ramifications of those policies. That's the argument behind a recent paper published in Psychological Science by Philip Fernbach of the London School of Business, Todd Rogers of Harvard's Kennedy School, Craig Fox of UCLA, and Steven Sloman of Brown. The authors asked 198 participants to rate their positions from "strongly against" to "strongly in favor" on a number of policies including unilateral sanctions on Iran, raising the retirment age for social security, a single-payer health care system, a cap-and-trade carbon emissions system, a national flat tax, and merit pay for teachers. Participants were then asked to provide a mechanistic explanation for one of the six policies. As hypothesized, when they were asked again for their opinion, they tended to be a little more nuanced: As predicted, asking people to explain how policies work decreased their reported understanding of those policies and led them to report more moderate attitudes toward those policies. We observed these effects both within- and between-participants. Change in understanding correlated with position extremity, such that those exhibiting greater decreases in understanding tended to also exhibit greater moderation of their positions Critically, the authors found that providing factual explanations for the policy had more of a moderating effect than simply asking participants to explain why they held the position they did. There have been a number of studies finding that discussion between like-minded people tends to produce an echo-chamber effect, pushing participants to politcial extremes. (This is the central argument behind Cass Sunstein's Republic 2.0 as well.) This new study suggests that the problem is not the amount of political conversation people have, but the type. When we have to explain a policy, we find that we're not quite as confident in our stance on it,..." Interesting just like in rumor theory, the less we know about something the stronger our huristics and response to complex social issues??? Go figure??? Are one day AFF courses driven by financial reasons only? I know of many DZ's that teach a certian way only, and I mean only, because that was the way they were taught? I'm telling ya, learning to skydive for a bigginer,.. my point is that, "Literally" an individual can not learn everything they need to know, you cannot practice enough to handel every contingency possible, in the early days of yor first freefalls! Nevermind doing everything in one day! Just because we have a few students on their first jumps that have followed their EP's to a great outcome, there are some that didnot, so this line of thinking is flawed! The places where they practice and belive'in multi day AFF courses, think the military for one, really do think they have something better on thier hands! And just about every allied peer reviewed research regarding learning theory and stress support this way of thinking! But the economics of skydiving????? Somebody tell me when as a Nation we switched from a country that fostered individual participation in government, despised corporations, (our forefathers saw corporations as a neccesary EVIL. Corporations had a very limited role and were highly controled.) To a Nation that now speaks of "Wealth Builders???" How's the following quote for ya, (socialism in action:) "WE THE PEOPLE,..." C Apparently when we the people get together to form a more perfect union, this somehow conflicts with corporate greed??? But what do I know, "I only have one tandem jump."

Imagine you’ve just landed a job with a big-time retailer. Your task is to load and unload boxes from trucks and containers. It’s back-breaking work. You toil 12 to 16 hours a day, often without a lunch break. Sweat drenches your clothes in the 90-degree heat, but you keep going: your kids need their dinner. One day, your supervisor tells you that instead of being paid an hourly wage, you will now get paid for the number of containers you load or unload. This will be great for you, your supervisor says: More money! But you open your next paycheck to find it shrunken to the point that you are no longer even making minimum wage. You complain to your supervisor, who promptly sends you home without pay for the day. If you pipe up again, you’ll be looking for another job. Everardo Carrillo says that's just what happened to him and other low-wage employees who worked at a Southern California warehouse run by a Walmart contractor. Carrillo and his fellow workers have launched a multi-class-action lawsuit for massive wage theft (Everardo Carrillo et al. v. Schneider Logistics) in a case that’s finally bringing national attention to an invisible epidemic. (Walmart, despite its claims that it has no responsibility for what its contractors do, has been named a defendant.) What happened to Carrillo happens every day in America. And it could happen to you. But what do I know, "I only have one tandem jump." -

Seven hundred workers have died in factory collapses and fires in this very small region outside Dhaka alone in the last decade. http://www.cnn.com/2013/04/25/opinion/bangladesh-factory-collapse-opinion/index.html?eref=mrss_igoogle_cnn Not sayin a lot of this is right / wrong, just that when you walk down the street in your jeans you might want to know what, where, and why they are being made. It's one thing to be delusional, it's another to say, "I'm a card carrying member of the "East India Trading Company" and I support our colonial imperalism! There is a difference between having blinders on and knowing! think of it this way how many of us would become vegitarians if we had to do in our beloved "Bessie." It is so much easier to let McDonalds serve it, (Bessie) in a bun V doin it the Tim Taylor method. (do it your self) But what do I know, "I only have one tandem jump." -
It's my sarcasm which is throwing people of late. In addition to the issue of "proving," there is also the subjective nature of what is considered to be the "best." For my blighted sarcasm, (and spelling,) I do apologize. Obviously if we further define and use a list of criteria of what is important and what isn't as a group we are going to get some differing opionions... One example of a criteria would be: Reliable reserve opening. Another: Low speed reserve performance. Another: How cute and snuggly it looks on our back! Etc. I love those vids BTW! Thank You Alex. Someone should remind J.S. to use them more often,... O'H wait a min., I think he was the one who made them! Anyways please make the same vid with differing sized main/reserve combinations? You point is well taken and I thank you for your efforts! Now if you could only reach the other 45,999 thousand skydivers out there! But what do I know, "I only have one tandem jump."

Great point Andy, which is why "they" moved offshore! We are not against buisness. But you need to understand the consumer has the least "power" in this system. This is why Whalmart loves talk about "boycots" because they know they don't work. In this discussion you also need to understand Whalmarts budget is larger than most countries! You also need to understand that western news media is controlled. You need also to understand that the "median" viewpoint is the one that research has proven is considered the most factual! Regardless of the truth! So if you want to be believed, just tone down your observations and be moderate, this is why many atrocities in our world take so long to be understood! No one belived that the HU TU's / Tutisi's killed close to a million in their little squabble. It took 100,000 lives before NATO acted because no one belived what was going on!!! C End of lecture for today But what do I know, "I only have one tandem jump." -
Please prove to me that the the Vector is the best. Please prove to me that it's not??? OH OH OH - BRAND WAR.. Thank you for your observation about "getting a life." I agree the lead time is a little long, my comment was more of a sarchastic comment about the prior posters comment, kind of the logical argument. I'll admit this one however went above many heads,... you can't rally prove one persons personal preference as in a brand war, so the reference is too what can be proven or not? Kind of the UFO argument, every rational human knows that they exsist, so I ask you "who do not belive" to prove that they don't exsist! rather that to those of you out there demaning that we prove they do exsist,... Ya I know >>> "get a life." But what do I know, "I only have one tandem jump."

http://www.labornotes.org/blogs/2013/04/supply-chain-workers-tell-walmart%E2%80%99s-dirty-secrets I'll post more if and when I can find stuff when it makes print, unfortunatly there is a rather large majority out there that for some reason thinks this kind of stuff dosen't happen?? I'll also try to find the latest (public) punishment from Al Jezera, allthough that's tough, as soon as aljerkerea stuff gets posted the (real) internet censors here in the USA delete it, can't even find it on some of the overseas site's. Latest one was a kid stealing something and they beat him till he went unconscious, then when they stuck him with a (something) he woke, so for lying they cut off one foot!
