Well... My cat paid for my Static line course. I have a pure bread and I decided that she wanted kittens. So as I sold them and I could pay for my jump course. My bank paid for my first rig. The bad part was I had to pay them back. I sold a computer, I sold a lawn mower, and I sold a bike... And a whole bunch of stuff actually. And then eventually I sold all my furniture, car and pretty much all but my clothes to come here. But that was not so much for skydiving as for my sweet hubby Skydivers are a bunch of insensitive jerks... And that's why I don't skydive anymore!

The climate mostly. It's so depressing to me to have the heat and humidity start in March and not end until November*** Try living in constant cold for 27 years... And a good summer consists of 3 weeks of not raining. After that I will never complain about the heat and the humidity. I do but that is not the point Skydivers are a bunch of insensitive jerks... (I want to stop eating meat completely. I'm going to let myself have tuna/salmon for awhile, but I'd like to give those up, too, eventually. I already take a multivitamin, but I know that I still have to eat right) I have always heard that you have to eat right and all that stuff. I don't belive it... I have always been eating tons of candy (swedish good tasting candy) and drinking lots of sodas and not much exercise. And people has always told me that you will get sick bla bla bla. Before I came here I had to take some medical tests and everything was great. I have also been a guinipig for e medical company and tests say I'm healthy. My point here, I don't know. But that my thoughts on eating healthy. A couple of years ago I stopped eating meat and ate only fish. No problem. And sometimes I would eat chicken. But now I eat only Fish. Okay, educate me. How would a container planform that is longer top to bottom - like the Wings EXT compared to the standard Wings - benefit someone with a short torso who jumps larger canopies? ----------------------------------------------------------- You were saying that the only ones you would recommend the wings to is someone with a short torso. So Colon said that the wings EXT is an option for all the other persons. When we get an order in we will obviusly check the measurments and if it's someone with a short torso, a regular wings it is. And if it's someone that is not within the normal standards we will simply make a special pattern. Wings has over 30 container sizes. From long to short. What people usually get wrong is that the EXT isa totally diffrent container but it's not. It's simlpy a longer and sleeker container. But it's not for someone with a short torso. This container is for tall people that are jumping small canopies. We also has a special options that we implement when a small girl orders. Normally a tiny tiny girl would get maybe an xs or small yoke, but henri came up with an xs legstrap option. Wich brings the container down and shortens it form the bottom instead. So this way you get rid of the annoying chest strap right over your boobs... If there is anything else you want to find out, I'm availible for questions. I do it all the time, it's so easy to get the canopy in the bag. It was a bit tricky in the beginning, but practice makes perfect, kind of:) I will not go back to "regular" packing. Ankie Skydivers are a bunch of insensitive jerks... And that's why I don't skydive anymore!

I talked to recco aswell because to me that seemed to be the best idea. however they said it wouldn't work, It needs a pretty clear pass to find the lost person/parachute So for example dence woods, would cut the signal. Also their tracking device is very expensive. That's why I went for this other option. I guess I have to keep track of my canopy... The company that I talked to said that if I wanted to have several different frequencies it would cost way more. He suggested that if you loose your canopy, tell all the other ones to turn off their signal and then go look for your canopy... I Think not Skydivers are a bunch of insensitive jerks... I have searched around for a tracking device that you can use on your canopy. I had an intentional cut away this weekend and I wasn't paying attention to where I cut the canopy away. So we spent hours and days looking for that canopy. After 3 days search we found it... Now I have this idea of putting a small inexpensive tracking device on your risers and maybe on your spring-loaded reserve P/C as well. It's a small tracking device that wouldn't interfere with your gear. Now the "problem" is that it's no point in having a tracking device if you don't have the tracker right. And normally this is the totally way expensive part. But the company I'm in touch with has a transmitter that you can fit in your pocket. This device is about $550.00 and then the receiver part around $15.00 Would you all be interested in having your Dropzone invest in a tracking device and then you pay say around $25.00 for the receiver? That way the DZ won't have to put up much money to get the tracker. And I will all break kind of even. You can buy as many receivers as you want on each tracker. And of course I have to investigate so they are not all the same receivers, because it would suck to find all the canopies in the air and lying around the Dropzone. You obviously just want it to search for your canopy. But guys think of the time you would save on looking for that canopy. You don’t have to follow the canopy down to a risky bushy area. Hey, You don't want to leave the ears "empty" In the wings you want the fabric to be more even then say for a Javelin. Don't stuff too much in the bottom of the container. Try to make it even and fill up the ears. Although you don't want too much up in the ears either. I would definalety go with Kurupee freefly suits. They have the COOLOEST patterns and "shit". And they are CHEAP. Ankie Skydivers are a bunch of insensitive jerks... And that's why I don't skydive anymore!

The manufacturer absolutely recommends Do Not do this. It can cause off heading openings and damage the nose of the center cell. That is an old trick passed around by a lot of well meaning jumpers who just didn't know any better. Some of them are even very experienced. I do this ALL the time. I also Psyko pack which PD doesn't reccomend on their canopies. But to me it's perfect. If I pack it normally thats when I get bad openings. So I think it's a preference of how you pack and how good you are at packing it that way. I jump a Sabre 107 and I don't have any problems with it. When I started I had a Sabre 170.
