But a woman (Clinton) also beat Trump in the popular vote. Thank the last institutional relic of the slavery era (EC) for installing the loser into the Whitehouse.

Heather Cox Richardson's narrative of the GOP's impeachment hearing is hilarious! https://heathercoxrichardson.substack.com/p/september-29-2023

I rode the motorcycle through RMNP over Trail Ridge Road today. I hadn't even thought of the possibilty that might soon not be possible.

Biden should call their bluff; "You don't think I should be president? OK, I am resigning and you can deal with President Harris from this point."

More likely 1963. Because the Civil Rights Act came along in 1964, and it has all been going to hell since then. :-(

Pretty impressive crime for a 9yo.

So the government is just 2 days from a shutdown because the House GOP can't even assemble a passable budget. Should we work on that? Nah, let's just have a circle jerk, trying to think of something to impeach Biden over.

I just compared my assessor's property valuation notice (dated May 1 this year), with what Zillow says my property is worth. The assessor's office say my property is worth 7.5% more than the Zillow estimate. -

The discussion of Mar-a-Lago starts on page 25, explaining restrictions on the property. The exact quotes of how he lied about its value are on page 26: https://iapps.courts.state.ny.us/fbem/DocumentDisplayServlet?documentId=op8OyfqVHpc6eGTx9LOw3Q==&system=prod -

Oh, this is good! Former president Trump has his own problems this evening stemming from the civil case against him, his older sons, and other officers and parts of the Trump Organization in New York, where Attorney General Letitia James has charged him with committing fraud by inflating the value of his assets. Today New York judge Arthur Engoron ruled that Trump and his company deceived banks and insurers by massively overvaluing his real estate holdings in order to obtain loans and better terms for deals. The Palm Beach County assessor valued Mar-a-Lago, for example, at $18 million, while Trump valued it at between $426 million and $612 million, an overvaluation of 2,300% (not a typo). LOL!!! This is a wild story if true: Ukrainian resistance fighters say Russian officers who hadn't been paid by Moscow sold them key intel on the Black Sea Fleet. Missiles then tore through the headquarters.

In CO they can't even find bus drivers, and it has been like this for a while. Just this morning I saw this: Colorado Department of Transportation's Bustang between Denver and Fort Collins experiencing regular cancellations due to driver shortage A spokesperson for CDOT confirmed that a driver shortage was largely to blame for the repetitive cancellations

Consider yourself lucky; My current Wrangler (2006): At 30,000 miles it developed "death wobble". Took it to the dealer where I bought it, and the goddamned idiot mechanic tried to tell me it was an out of round tire. Anyone who knows anything about "death wobble" knows it has nothing to do with tires. Did some more digging around online and found a little independent repair shop in Denver who even had Youtube videos posted specifically about Wranger death wobble. So I took it to them. The multiple instances of the wobble had resulted in damage to every joint in the front end, (except the kingpin joints), requiring them to all need replacement. And the steering box needed to be rebuilt. My previous Wrangler was a 1993. At 80,000 miles the rear axle had to be replaced with a rebuilt unit.

How do we know if she really dumped him? And how do we know she aware he was a Democrat all along? This could be evidence that even hard-core Trumpanista's would rather spend their off-hours with fun liberals/progressives than with other dull fear-mongering MAGA types.

The US didn't pay anything; It was Iran's money being frozen in South Korea. Kanaani said the funds, blocked in South Korea after U.S. sanctions on Iran were hardened in 2018, would be available to Tehran on Monday. Under the deal, Qatar will ensure the cash is spent on humanitarian goods and not items under U.S. sanctions.
