When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca

It’s like war with China. We are so intertwined economically that neither China nor the US can go to war. The world loses SoKo and the world loses a lot. It’ll cause an economic shock. It’ll be a strategic shock. And to allow such to occur would be a human rights crisis the likes of which we haven’t seen since WWII. I think the USA would be the biggest loser (not including a nuclear war here) China has a very highly developed cyber attack capability, has the Microsoft source code and has been planting logic bombs in the USAs undefended public infrastructure systems for years. It also has enough US Dollars in its reserves to devalue the dollar at the flick of a switch. The China can unhitch its internet access very quickly and their currency is not as in demand as the dollar (and the USA isn't able to crash its value so easily.) So what? Why is that anyones problem apart from Korea's? It not like they can keep going anywhere. Screw it let them fight it out, doesn't sound like it would last long anyway. Part of the problem is the huge military base that the US has in South Korea. Not sure of the exact numbers, but there's something like 28.5K American soldiers based there. Maybe NOKO would let them surrender? When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca

I have to wonder if this explains a few things
Skyrad replied to davjohns's topic in Speakers Corner
If that's the case then nobody is capable of freedom. The least of which would be a slave owner. Who is more virtuous; the slave or the slave owner? The man who sold the slave to the owner, for he was only making a living to feed his wife and children. That presupposes that there was a time when nations were full of virtuous people and free. Herodotus blows that theory clean out of the water. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca -

Why are we giving the muslim brotherhood fighter jets. . .
Skyrad replied to turtlespeed's topic in Speakers Corner
That is not so far from the truth. You have to realize that a weapon system, esp. a complex one like a fighter jet needs tons of maintenance and spare parts. The reason Americans are not really worried about them being against themselves is, they stop supplying spares and 3 months later the fleet is essentially grounded. I'd think their software would be riddled with logic bombs (some even placed there by the Americans!) So they can fight the Iranians in a proxy war of course. Besides they'll be no threat to the USAF plus I bet they don't come with the optional extras When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca -

Why are they living in Europe and not working? Because they can. Useless dossers are the same wherever they go Brits can claim the dole across Europe if they want to and there are plenty who do. As for the rest of the 2 million, at the moment you can just get up and go its easy, if the UK pulls out do you seriously think that there won't be consequences? Try getting a resident visa and a work permit then and see how easy it is. Also there will be a big adverse economic reaction, only in the last week or so Honda decided not to invest in the UK because of our uncertain future in the EU. The problem is not one of cultures, we have people from all over the world living in the UK with many cultures, the problem is one of a one size fits all economy as it clearly doesn't. Most likely but seeing as the average Brit gets their information from the Sun and the Daily Mail I question how many people have actually looked at both sides of the argument rather than listen just to the 'here come the scumbag eastern european's to claim our dole and houses brigade'. Which would screw the 2 million Brits living and working and claiming dole across Europe. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
