Naw...I was thinking about going to the local crackhouse after work, myself. A One that Isn't Cold is Scarcely a One at All

Dunno...I know a lot of people's first names but nobody's last name. Can you describe them? A One that Isn't Cold is Scarcely a One at All

Yup... And to think-this is the 21st century. It is entirely acceptable not to take your husband's last name. Hey, this dude may be the best guy on earth, I don't know I've never met him. But, man, that's one hell of a name! A One that Isn't Cold is Scarcely a One at All

That's good to hear. Not so on this end. But the story has a happy ending. I recently found out that she was just remarried and her last name is now "Gargamelli!" A One that Isn't Cold is Scarcely a One at All

Does anyone know where I can find a skydiving website?

Why were you looking for topics about skydiving here? A One that Isn't Cold is Scarcely a One at All -
Hiya Frog, Bummer about the news. {{{VIBES}}} About three years ago I called off my engagement with my girlfriend at the time. We ended up making-up-breaking-up a few times and eventually broke it off for the last time. It was a bummer, but thank GOD I didn't marry her! A One that Isn't Cold is Scarcely a One at All

What Kev said. I will be honest, finding out that some of the anti-drug propaganda was untruthful did make an impact on some of my decisions when I was younger. A One that Isn't Cold is Scarcely a One at All

Perhaps an analogy from a whuffo's perspective: Skydiving often becomes an addiction; there are skydiving addicts. Skydiving is dangerous, and people often die as a result. Skydiving is not a victimless crime because it affects the lives of others, such as non-skydiving significant others, and the whole family is affected when skydivers die. If my child was a skydiver, I'd never allow it; I'd make them stop. Skydiving should be illegal. By opening drop zones, we are encouraging skydivers to continue their addictions. Picture this: a young person gets addicted to skydiving and runs away to live on a dropzone. Where is the help? Where is the cure? I can tell you right now the results of a study on the effects of skydiving: Skydiving IS BAD for you, there, I've saved tons of money and 'research'. A One that Isn't Cold is Scarcely a One at All

Ooh. Nice catch. So...if someone doesn't give two shits what color their altimeter is... A One that Isn't Cold is Scarcely a One at All

Was poking around on some websites looking for an altimeter, and found that one site, www.paraequip.com, was selling Alti III Galaxy's for $129. Any idea why this is priced so much lower than anywhere else? In other words, if it seems to good to be true... Anyone have experience buying from this gear shop? Ron just said (one or two posts up) that he agrees with me about the young male factor. The fact that Ron agrees with you that males are more likely to engage in risky behavior does not mean that Ron identifies 20-30 year old males as the problem. A One that Isn't Cold is Scarcely a One at All

Hey Muenkel - pass me a beer wouldja? I thought it was strange on Friday when I didn't see the credits go up at the end of the thread, but now I realize that it was just a reeeeaaaallly long intermission. A One that Isn't Cold is Scarcely a One at All

Wtf? What captions? What letters? What are you talking about? There's no need to get flustered. If you mean to concede that modern American sentiment toward France and Germany has nothing to do with a Swiss air traffic controller, then just say it. A One that Isn't Cold is Scarcely a One at All

Nope. I wrote "at least" meaning that there could be more. 50 is subsumed in "at least 44." It has nothing to do with any particular country, but as a general interpretation of the attitude of most EUROPEANS towards the AMERICAS in general. I am not saying that all the people from EUROPE are like that, but every single country there has had an issue with nationality/ethniticty so fierce, they have actually (I think there are to WW as fact) managed to kill more people throughout the ages and instill, most of the population idea is that they are trully more civilized than any american country (with the american being as a whole continent). You will probably discuss and argue that I am generalizing, which is mostly true, but in my honest opinion, the reality is that most of the countries in EUROPE, including FRANCE and GERMANY, will have somewhat of a lookdown attitude from anyone coming from here. In some sarcastic way or another. I speak this from first hand experience since I did live in 4 countries in that continent, and travelled about 20 more. So don't tell me they are not prejudiced over there, being hispanic, that is something I did encounter A LOT. You concede that you are generalizing. Fine. However, I reiterate my second question: What does any of this have to do with an air traffic controller in Switzerland? A One that Isn't Cold is Scarcely a One at All

Steve: Just to point out where I stand: I have too little experience in this sport to argue whether the BSR is justified. Having said that, if it were put to a vote I would vote for it. I was taking Kallend to task for attempting to argue against the BSR using an irrelevent point: the fact that we cannot regulate whether someone is a 20-30 year old male has nothing to do with whether we can regulate whether a low-time jumper can jump a highly-loaded canopy. I will go ahead and edit my previous post to clarify my stance. A One that Isn't Cold is Scarcely a One at All

A) There are at least 44 countries in Europe. You mention 2. Once again, you are judging the whole based on the minority. B) What on earth do US/German and US/France foreign relations have to do with a Swiss Air Traffic Controller? A One that Isn't Cold is Scarcely a One at All
-
I have no idea where you're coming from here. Those proposing the BSR have identified the problem as low turns under small canopies by inexperienced pilots leading to death when a lighter loading may have let them live with only an injury. We can regulate this. Those proposing the BSR have not identified 20-30 year old males as the problem. See two posts below for reason for edit. A One that Isn't Cold is Scarcely a One at All

The great European nations personified, of course, by one individual's prank, about which he has admitted it was stupid, and has been punished for by his supervisors. Surely an enlightened nation would know better than to base their opinion of a large and diversely populated region on the chastised and atoned-for actions of an individual.
