  1. Oh my god... now I'm gonna have nightmares about a vibrator that is pulsing to the tune of Sweet Home Alabama, Freebird, or Bohemian Rhapsody. (Complete with the vision of Remi banging his head to Bohemian Rhapsody. ) But Iggy's "I Wanna Be Your Dog" would work pretty well.
  2. Hmm... that looks interesting. It would probably go well with a nice NIN playlist.
  3. I almost said that one too. I love the Ramones.
  4. Sorry, none of the bezillion cameras we have in the house seemed to be working while I was in the bath. But oddly, they're all fine now. And Kelly: I know better than to do a lot of things, but that rarely keeps me from doing them.
  5. Pinball Wizard - The Who Welcome to My Nightmare - Alice Cooper Black Dog - Led Zeppelin Break on Through - The Doors I Wanna Be Your Dog - Iggy & the Stooges
  6. Geez, I must smell pretty bad if you can smell me from Georgia. Actually, I AM all sweaty and icky right now. But I'm about to get in the bath...
  7. Dropping hints is silly. Just tell me. (And that goes for pretty much anything.)
  8. I think the only person who ever asked me if I was gay was this asshole dude in a bar who was trying to talk to me. I politely told him I just wanted to be alone and listen to the music, but he kept talking to me anyway. So then I rudely told him to go away and he said, "What, are you gay or something?" Hmm, and my friend Frank just gave me The Straight Girl's Guide to Sleeping with Chicks, but he didn't ask me if I am gay.
  9. Are you calling me a hairy dude??? (This IS about me, isn't it? )
  10. Good answer. I can't believe how many people have voted yes. It has never even occurred to me to hide my SO from my friends or family. But then I've never made a big deal about introducing them either. I guess I just don't care whether anyone approves of who I'm dating... Though now that I think about it, there has only been one time that my mom and a close friend both pointed out that someone was wrong for me... And of course I didn't listen to them, but they turned out to be right.
  11. That sounds like a fun party.
  12. That would be a cute title for you.
  13. Now Keith is "special."
  14. ...I don't have a partner Sometimes I feel like my only friend... is the city I live in The city of angels As lonely as i am Together we cry That's exactly what I started singing when I saw the thread title. One of my favorite songs... Under the bridge downtown Is where I drew some blood Under the bridge downtown I could not get enough Under the bridge downtown Forgot about my love Under the bridge downtown I gave my life away
  15. How about a light green color? Do you have a picture of the room?
  16. Yes. With the funny old cartoons during intermission.
  17. Your insurance pays for acupuncture!? Did you have to get a referral from your regular doctor or something?
  18. I saw it a long time ago at the Paramount Theatre in Austin (a really cool old theatre), in a double feature with Woody Allen's Play it Again, Sam. It was pretty good, but I preferred Woody Allen's movie. (Yes, I am simple-minded.) Actually, I'd like to see it again. I might appreciate it more now.
  19. I was afraid to click on those because I thought your recommendations would be something more like this. Great, now that I did a search on that it'll probably be added to the keywords of stuff that I'm interested in.
  20. Do you get the recommendation emails from Amazon.com? And do you sometimes wonder WTF? (Or am I the only dork who actually signed up for their emails?) Mine for today is Habitus Disgustica: The Encyclopedia of Annoying, Rude, and Unpleasant Behavior It's good to know that they think this is the sort of thing I am interested in.
  21. I have received benefits from chiropractic (very much so!) and acupuncture. I'm not sure if acupuncture really works in the manner that the practitioners claim, but I find it to be such a relaxing experience that I think it might work in more of an indirect way for me. And of course--like anything--the practitioner you go to makes a big difference. Hmm, now you've got me wanting to go back to the acupuncturist...
  22. My dentist always tries to have a conversation with me. I have decided that--among his other sadistic tendencies--he just enjoys watching me try to talk when he has his hand in my mouth or when my mouth is numb (or both).
  23. The Who's "Pinball Wizard" is probably my all-time favorite classic rock song.
  24. I had to look that one up. Apparently, botanically cucumbers are a fruit. But every diet that I have ever been on has listed them as a vegetable. And I've always grown them in a vegetable garden, along with that other vegetable, that's really a fruit, the tomato. Oh well, fruit or vegetable, I doubt that pickled relish has much in the way of nutritional value anyway. But it tastes good...
  25. I think he's talking about the pickle relish (cucumbers).
