  1. I have this helmet. Originally got it for a lightweight patroling helmet to replace my kevlar, but still have the ability to mount NVG's, helmet light ect... since then I have jumped it in the military, with IR strobe on the back, and civilian, with nothing on it. I havnt had any problems with it. It is incredibly comfortable as well. Jack of all trades. Military Free Fall Jumpmaster. USA Static-line Jumpmaster.

  9. Good point on the combat thing, im an 03 in the Marine Corps... and I am currently at a course where I am working with female marines for the first time in my life. The simple fact, is they are different, hence the different standards for females on all the physical fitness tests used. Segregation between the sexes isn't a moral issue, it's biological. There are some females in my gym that are physical specimens, but its far from the norm. One thing I've noticed, is females tend to want equality in treatment, pay and opportunity, but not in standards. Personally I don't think there should be female and male standards for the military, only one. There competing for the same jobs, same pay, ect... why should they have lower standards? 10. I stand corrected, still less than 0.1% and my opinion does not change. Jack of all trades. Military Free Fall Jumpmaster. USA Static-line Jumpmaster.
  11. Well, that would be 0.08%, not 0.0008%. What was that about easy math? Try using a calculator bro. Jack of all trades. Military Free Fall Jumpmaster. USA Static-line Jumpmaster.

  14. waiting for an opposing team to forfeit rather than play the boy. This district appears to have a process for determination. It may be an subjective one, but it wasn't made by a single or tiny group. dude seriously? they are already talking about NOT even letting him play in the league, not just forfeit game. 15. Unless you're one of the 0.1%. Its not even 0.1% its roughly 0.0008% And this is for "serious crimes" not just death penalty cases. So yes, keep the death penalty, wish every state had it. Jack of all trades. Military Free Fall Jumpmaster. USA Static-line Jumpmaster.
  16. Ive only jumped one actual skydiving helmet, the Bonehead Revolve. I love it though, great field of view, no fogging, and you actually have two helmets in one, the whole front piece/face shield comes off and then you have an open face. So best of both world in my opinion. Jack of all trades. Military Free Fall Jumpmaster. USA Static-line Jumpmaster.
  17. I use a suppressor on my M-4 at work for certain situations. Come in really handy during CQB and room clearing type work. While it doesn't completely silence the round, it eliminates the harsh noise, making it comfortable for a team to fire in close proximity to each other in enclosed spaces. And like I said even though it doesn't silence the round, it makes it EXTREMELY hard to identify the point of origin on a supressed weapon and any distance, it reduces sound significantly and hides most, if not all visual muzzel flash. 18. I'm curious how you define gun nut? I'm a gun enthusiast, I own a few, shoot often, and have a concealed carry permit.. according to you am I a gun nut? Jack of all trades. Military Free Fall Jumpmaster. USA Static-line Jumpmaster.
  19. Hate to break it to you pops, but that was indeed the point. But not reality, the Majority of gun owners do not want to put a gun in everyones hand, they just want that RIGHT protected, where as the majority of gun-o-phobes do want to remove guns from everyone (except criminals because they wont follow stricter laws anyways) Jack of all trades. 21. I can only speak for the Marine Corps version of "Freefall" school. Its after going to Army Basic Airborne (2 weeks of a waste of time, and 5 low level static line jumps on a round). MMPC (The actual course name) consists of aproximately 25 jumps, from jump 1-9 you have one instructor jump with you, with video (which i found to be extremly helpful) after that, solo jumps, Drouge jumps, night jumps, night drouge, fast learning curve at the school, compared to Civilian AFF. I think like my 14th freefall jump was under drouge with aprox. 80lbs of gear, a rifle and oxygen Jack of all trades. Military Free Fall Jumpmaster. USA Static-line Jumpmaster.
  22. Again, here comes the double standard. If we dont do anything, the left will bash us for not helping the innocent, if we do intervene, we are wrong because it was for super corporations and million or billion dollar contracts. 23. It is just as true as that bit about armed societies being polite societies. When I lived in Switzerland, that struck me as being very much the case. Great point, but as most gun fearing people, he will refuse to believe this im sure. haha. Jack of all trades. Military Free Fall Jumpmaster. USA Static-line Jumpmaster.
  24. Uhm no. Are you still sure that if a victim is armed they would not become a victim? And since an armed society is a polite society. How come Americans aren't know for being polite around the world? Less likely to become a victim, yes. And ill be the first to say, 75% or more of Police officers are not properly trained with firearms, most do little more than their annual quals to be allowed to carry the weapon, few go out and practice on their own time. Same in the Marine Corps "Every Marine is a Rifleman" B.S. every marine qualifies one time per year shooting less than 500 rounds, that does not make you proficient. And I guess the Americans being polite thing depends on who you talk to, and what countries you visit. That is a matter of opinion. Jack of all trades. Military Free Fall Jumpmaster.
