The .42 http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=124579&is=REG or .43 http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=232570&is=REG
 frankiebrina 0 #5 February 10, 2004 And where can I find those thin ones so I can compare prices.
 randolf 0 #6 February 10, 2004 If you are talking about low profile lens, try http://www.flyers-pit.com/. It's 0.3 but you can always zoom it and use it as .42 or 0.6. It's expensive but thinking of the cost to repair your camera when you rip off your lens, I recommend it. Im sold ... thanks
 diablopilot 2 #8 February 10, 2004 QuoteIt's expensive but thinking of the cost to repair your camera when you rip off your lens, I recommend it. Or you coulds a) design your setup so that doesn't happen, b) fly your openings so that doesn't happen. I have a diamond .03 from www.royal-lens.com and one of the ones sold in Australia. Same thing. They are fun lenses, and are great for some really wild shots. I love mine for belly cams, foot cams, and handi cams. That said, they are not what I would consider the best "all-around" lens. The bigest problem they face is the resolution drop off as lighting conditions get worse (overcast days, sunset loads) They also have a major limit on how much you can zoom the lens before the camera will not alow focus any longer. I have near 1000 jumps on the Kenko .5 and it works great. you can even put a filter on them to protect the glass, unlike the "thin" lenses, although at less than $30 a copy, why bother.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are.
