DickMcMahon 0 #1 January 23, 2003 In a 300-way, how do the people in the middle track away and pull without getting tangled with other jumpers? Maybe pulling at different altitudes? _______________________________

Atleast that's my understanding (since the only use I'd be to a 300 way is as a waterboy).--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Gawain 0 #3 January 23, 2003 I had the privilege of jumping with a few of the record holders this past weekend. I asked them about it as a few were on the outer ends of the wackers. Overall, it's pretty simple, the outer parts of each wacker began tracking at 7000ft and continued tracking until they reached about 2300ft. Each outer part peeled away, tracked and pulled at a different altitude (perhaps 2600ft). Pretty neat stuff. As I understand it, various items were discussed during the break off, such as body angle during the track with the purpose of avoiding colliding traffic. So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! Check out www.300-way.com there is detailed information about how to build, how to break off and other "how-to" info regarding the 300way and large formation skydiving in general.
