    A cowbell won't fail... But it's not a hand signal! At our DZ most people at the door get the hint when someone, or everyone, is motioning with various points, both hands gesturing in a push motion, etc. in a similar situation we have gotten a simple thumbs up from the pilot everybody should understand that signal You can't be drunk all day if you don't start early!

    For God sakes! - beer is to this sport as the Holy Grail is to Catholicism... Why would this DZO tell you not to drink beer at a DZ?... careful, your newbiness is showing! Beer after hours is cool. Visible beer in or near the hangar during the day when there is at least the possibility of getting another load up is generally frowned upon. The GKs of course can do what they want! depends what DZ you start at I never heard of a beer light until I started traveling to other dropzones we sell beer in manifest all day You can't be drunk all day if you don't start early!
