very true it seems the smaller the dog the more energy they have it is a lot different in the car though the 2 we have now take up 1 seat in the back instead of the whole back seat and they can curl up on the couch with you without taking up the entire couch You can't be drunk all day if you don't start early!

I learned that lesson the hard way.
