  1. Thanks for the info.I really dont think it is stolen, but I will check with the one place I know of that has skydiving just to be sure.My own hobbies require some pretty expensive gear that I had to bust my hump to get so if it is stolen I will do my best to put it back in the owners hands.

Hi folks.I am not a sky diver.I joined this site to ask about a piece of gear I found.If that is considered an intrusion on this community please let me know and I will delete my post an account and search for answers elsewhere. While discarding some trash at my storage space I found an Altimaster ll in a box beside the dumpster along with other items that lead me to beleive it is U.S. Army issue.I found a pic on line of one that is similar but not exact.The one I found does not have a yellow zone between the numbers 2 and three.It does have a red zone between 0 and 2.5.Also has a black leather holster, and there is a small dial on the top left. I was thinking it would be something cool to give my six year old,but would like to know more about its value first.Quote
