  1. I'm in a similar boat. I'm 6'6" and having a tough time finding gear...but 6'8"....wow. If you ever sell any of your gear, lemme know first :) In the event that you do have to sell, I think you'll be able to sell it without too much issue. Finding something that fits the few tall people is like gold to us, so we snatch it up quick for a decent price. The Wings EXT has been recommended to me as well, but it is not for mains > 150...) If I can't find anything affordable to re-harness, I'll order up something new this fall. Just gotta decide on reserve/main size...then get a nice fitting harness!
  2. Did my AFF 5-7 yesterday. Level 7 was a front flip tucked exit 360's right and left. Dock - then tossed into a front flip Backflip Watch alti and pull ....all during a BEAUTIFUL sunset. Ya'know, I really like skydiving :)
  3. Thanks for the welcome guys! Definitely not trying to get in over my head in...Just tryin to NOT pass up awesome deals on gear. Some of the local guys have been telling me to at least start looking for a container (depending on my level of seriousness) so I can find a decent used one that fits my body.
  4. Hi everyone, I've been meaning to start certification for a long time.... Did a tandem in Queenstown, NZ 3 years ago; then another one in Hollister, CA, USA mid last year. Skydive Hollister had a great sale last October and I decided to take the plunge :) Nothing quite like the freedom of freefall! Did my first two levels last weekend, and hoping to get a few more jumps this coming weekend. Starting to think about what gear is best for a tall person (as I'm sure it will be difficult to find used) . I'm 6'6" and 215 (athletic build). Any newbie gear suggestions for a tall guy (mostly container sizing suggestions...)? Stoked to be a part of the skydiving community.
