The "shouting at the radio" moment I'm having with this is to say that she needs to tell them that with her current funding she can't exactly house them in the local Ramada and if those same Senators/Representatives are so flummoxed then let's talk about the DHS and CBP budgets. Edit: In some news reports I've read that the CBP agents are very glad that this is an issue because it's a laughably poor way to do their job but it's all they have money for.

The pictures shown as the proof of cages that I've seen are chain link enclosures that are fairly large. I would call a 6x6x6 a cage but is that what they're doing? Edit to add link: https://www.google.com/search?q=border+cages&tbm=isch&source=univ&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwistNKUs_DgAhXFqlkKHZCOD5EQsAR6BAgFEAE&biw=1366&bih=663 That's just a "border cages" search and again, chain link enclosures inside of a building. They do need to be held in areas in which they can't just run out an exit door and I find these to be acceptable. The only cages shown in those pictures are from people who have set up an actual cage to take a picture to protest "cages".

I guess what I'm saying is that the US may honor keeping warfare with China and Russia conventional because they weren't the ones who sent the nukes. We should probably stop providing ideas for actual and fictional warfare without proofing a copyright on the material. With that said this discussion is hereby declared to be a dated research discussion for intellectual property about a band of skydivers who thwart WWIII.
-
We're talking Hollywood movie level hypothetical but the lesson from Pearl Harbor is that the first attack needs to be much more effective. Why not let Korea make it and then China/Russia engage a vastly depleted US with conventional troops?

I'd buy them out and create a black market like Sawyer on Lost.

President Donald Trump wants to raise $1 billion for his reelection

Can't imagine why they're having trouble finding someone who wants to sign their name to Trump election financing. -
Had the same thought. Probably brags about being a "nice guy" and complains about women being whores who date assholes.

And NK made more progress (ICBM and full thermonuclear capabilities tested) and launched more missiles during Trump's presidency than all previous years combined. What do you suggest they should have done for so much to have happened in Trump's presidency that he was unable to deal with? I guarantee that short of a full blown invasion, if you list it, they did it. NK has absolutely not stopped their weapons program and by all indications tech for improving both their rockets and weapons have been coming in from China and Russia. Nothing would suite those two countries more that NK making a first strike nuke attack and then ducking into bunkers for the retaliatory strike while Russia and China take advantage of conventional warfare against a technologically depleted US force who recently gave up their long term alliances with NATO members.

You sound like one of those guys who puts stuff on his FB page about how he has trouble finding a girl because he can't find someone who can think on his level.

The new normal, Trump lies about everything.

There IS a problem with global warming... it stopped in 1998

You're missing the update on denial: "Oh, so it's hot in Australia in the summer? Next you're going to say it's cold in LA: https://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-cold-february-20190228-story.html " -

His closing statement was a joke. For those who didn't hear it: https://www.nbcnews.com/video/watch-cohen-s-full-closing-statement-at-house-hearing-1449463363629 It's two minutes of him deriding Trump and invoking images of patriotism and righteousness that Cohen himself would never have followed had he not been caught being a sleezebag.
-
I'm not sure what Cohen is bringing to the table in this testimony. Whether Trump knew about the wiki dump again of time: Not relevant even if Trump said in a press conference that he didn't know. Whether Trump told Cohen to lie. Whether Trump told Stone to lie. Whether Trump knew about email hack. What else? I've only been watching it off and on.

Well, did anyone say back to him, "I know you are but what am I?"
-
I would like to see validation as to what he saw on this visit.

So far this is an opinion piece. Need that documentation he spoke about.

$50k In DC means you either have three roommates or a trust fund. The irony is that you can call it Socialism or Communism to say that an employer can't pay what they want in a free market.

You're talking about going from Atlanta (Georgia?) to the beach and ask that it needs to be close? I don't mean to sound like a smart ass but you've looked at a map right?

I guess my take is that I don't think Donald Trump was any more personally involved in any Trump organization business than he is in being "The President". I do await the final tally from Mueller but I wouldn't be surprised if the hatchet falls on those working on his behalf rather than at his direction. That's an important distinction because while he may pressure employees to do illegal things on his behalf he's (so far) done a very good job at having no record of him to actually directing that action. We do know he has no problem throwing his most loyal people under the bus. Edit: As for Putin having dirt on Trump and those situations in which Trump was cowering in front of Putin. Yes, very telling of something.
-
I disagree. When Trump was campaigning his money source and future assets were very much Russian based. He didn't want to disclose that and he didn't want to say anything that would hurt those deals so he took a very forgiving stance. BUT remember that he never thought he would win. ALSO since he had so many Russian based relationships his contemporary staff and contacts also had ties to Russia. Trump being who he is slept with dogs and those dogs are now being exposed for what they are and for what they did. I do think that Trump is compromised because of these relationships but I don't think Putin has anything on him that we don't know about. I just think that because Trump lies so easily that it's in his nature to lie about and protect his family assets.

Speaking of refuting things you know that Trump is the President with his appointees in place and even two years in those individuals with all of the information, research grants, secret behind the scenes access have not been able to refute the claims that the increase in the rate of change in the climate is due to human activity. Can you offer an explanation to this? -
Face book and other social media has taken over much of the social aspect that was on DZ.com. Same with (at least in my world) gear sales. I think DZ.com is not getting new jumpers into the forums as it's not the one stop shop that it was.
